nice turf field. Good lighting at night too
Pretty new and well taken care of fields as well as an assortment of other things to do in the area.
Soccer and ultimate leagues play here a lot. Hosts annual events and is very popular for joggers. There are even sand volleyball courts.
Nice turf fields in the heart of east Vancouver. Really modern. Well lit and covered benches and cheap parking. Great use of space and well thought out with a playground, basketball court and dirt bike track, table tennis , beach volleyball and par core !
Great feild to use in the rain, come join @beastmdfitness for a great work out.
Awesome field to go to. One of my favourite turf fields. Has an outdoor gym and some slides for kids. Only downside is paying for parking unless you park somewhere north of the fields in which case, you'll have to walk for a bit. Not bad though.
Loses all it's flair by needing a better parking system. Shouldn't really fault it for the goofball patrons that go there through the exit so they can sneak a parking spot but the system needs to be better.
lights ends at 10/11pm.
other things to do:
jungle gym and unique slides for kids
basketball court
4 beach volley court
ping-pong tables
manual outdoor gym
bike trick park
skateboard park
unoffical marked rubbered oval
2 turf soccer fields
bleachers and stands to sit on
very small paid parking lot
2 shower - boys n girls
2 washrooms - boys and girls - not clean
over all a good place to have a family outing because everyone can enjoy playing their own thing or just relaxing. they might add more picnic areas.
I play 7-a-side urban rec soccer here, Great facilities!
When it gets dark out this is such a cool spot in the city. The huge lights they have are quite impressive.
Two excellent artificial turf fields installed to World Cup of Soccer specifications for the 2015 Women's World Cup. Modern playground for kids with spider web climbing installation and exercise devices. There are permanent ping pong tables, four volleyball sand courts and a basketball court. There is a four-lane track that encircles the two fields. The statue of four-minute milers Banister and Landy now stands at the south end.
Some of the best turf fields in Vancouver with designated warm up areas. A well planned exercise area next to the playground.
Move over Trillium. These are my new favourite turf fields in the city.
Sure they are annoying to get to.
Sure getting in the parking lot (free on the north side) can be confusing.
But the city has done a great job bringing a feature-full, multipurpose park and field to an area that has so much potential.
Aside of from the 2 full-sized turf fields (with lights), there is a cushioned climbing park, 25 ft slide, bathroom facilities, mini mountain bike park and a track.
Great area for recreational sports leagues and sports enthusiasts.
