Only went to the Chieftain, not the hotel. Always a good time, even on a random Tuesday night for karaoke.

Scuzzy and cheap. New Japanese restaurant looks good, but dirty.

The only good things about this hotel are its location and the free cable in the rooms. The wifi didnt work and the desk clerks had no idea how to fix it. The desk clerks are never actually at the front desk. The rooms are right above a pub AND a nightclub both of which play poundingly loud music that makes the floor vibrate until 2am - even midweek!!!! And dont even get me started on the perfumey -febreezey horrible smell in the non-airconditioned rooms. Ugh.

No AC in the rooms, and it gets pretty hot in there in the summer. The rooms are ok, but not great, same goes for the bed and the bathroom. Service was pretty poor, you have to call them at the reception, because there is no one there. You don't feel very welcomed.

Town is also pretty mediocre. You might want to skip it completely

Stayed in a room directly over the bar and they called us right after the booking to warn us about the noise because I have kids, but I couldn't change the reservation without hassle and expense thru Expedia and didn't have the time. Bottom line, there is no reason to have bad kareoke reverberating that loudly thru the whole building til after 1pm when you own an establishment that offers sleeping accommodations. No AC and couldn't open the window with smokers below. No screen but a fan. Masked smoke smell in the room. Staff also directed me to park in the 2hr parking out front, but I was uncomfortable and drove up three blocks. Otherwise would have been a descent budget hotel with great view of the chief. Don't expect to sleep here weekends I guess. I can usually handle noise with earplugs and white noise app bit this shook the room. They did warn meI just don't understand why bad kareoke had to be THAT loud.

Stopped in for a beverage after hiking. The hotel pub is traditional working man style. Stage for music, pool table, etc. Many locals hang out here. Beer was reasonably priced, establishment was reasonably clean, decor somewhat dated.

Apparently, this has been recently refurbished. We booked in over a weekend and didnt realise the place had a nightclub. The staff were good and changed our room and offered a discount. The issue was - no sound proofing. Everything vibrated when the nightclub was on. Apart from that, the facilities were good and location was handy.

Clean nicely priced room, however the karaoke at night was a little loud below us. If you are a sound sleeper and mild noise doesnt bother you I would highly recommend it.
