  Beautiful spot for a wedding and reception and accommodation. They have everything here for any type of event. I've also been here in the winter for a Christmas party. Good times all around.

  Truly one of the best places I've stayed in Northern Ontario. Everything was absolutely perfect!
  
  Both the chalets and the main lodge are beautiful, spotless and well maintained.
  
  The surroundings are beautiful, the food is amazing and so many recreational toys included!
  
  My new favorite place in the North!
  
  The owners and staff are so friendly, accommodating and helpful.

  The Ek Lake Eco Centre is by far the most unprofessional place I’ve ever worked at; the employers don’t know how to treat their employees with proper respect. I was recently called back and returned to work after a month of absence due to a family emergency; I worked a total of three shifts before they decided to fire me via letter with no prior write up or warning; their reasoning for doing as such was because of supposed poor work ethic over, “Lewd comments directed towards customers that could be overheard,” and poor performance — meanwhile the incidents they are referring to happened months ago long before I was even asked to come back; on top of that, the comments made didn’t even come from me and I’ve been praised on my performance multiple times; therefore they had no reason to release me — besides the fact they were losing business over the freedom of my choice to wear makeup. I was told by multiple employees that I would not be allowed to wear makeup to work, by word of the bosses; and before I even got the chance to make change to their discriminatory ways, I was released within a few days later.
  
  There was also an occasion where I was made fun of for being gay by an employee of theirs (which I have the screenshot of) they were made aware of this and nothing was done of it. The employee still works there til’ this day. The only thing they care about is how much money they can make for their business and are willing to make their employees mental health’s an after thought.
  
  I’m writing this review today, not out of spite, but to stand up for what I believe in and expose the business owners for the frauds they are; if you support them after, that’s your choice but it makes you no good or better than the rest of them.

  Excellent service! All the staff are polite & friendly. As per some reviews given by other visitors I do not have any complain regarding the services and the resort. Over all it is excellent and the location is the right place for those who loves nature.

  The actual place was truly beautiful, calming and we thought it would be the perfect place for our anniversary weekend.
  Once arrived staff was very sweet.
  We got to the room we realized there was a ton of mouse poop in the bathroom. At the time I tried to tell myself it was part of being in a cabin but once I’ve spoken to people who have been out there I was told this should of been cleaned before we got in; especially during COVID times when things need to be cleaned more often.
  Leaving the bathroom, I saw an earwig.
  Again, wrote it off as part of being in a cabin, killed it and moved on.
  By supper I noticed more earwigs and we tried to make the best of our night and got tired of needing to kill them.
  As soon as the sun went down we noticed it was an actual infestation of them. There were some on the ceiling above where our bed was and I couldn’t fall asleep worried they’d fall on us.
  The front desk was closed and we ended up driving home in the middle of night really let down by our experience.
  Ultimately management responded to us by saying that they were actually aware of the issue before our arrival.. in their second email they back peddled and tried to tell us there was a chance that we brought them in to the cabin. In the end all they could do is give us a slight discount if we decide to return.
  Horrible experience unfortunately.
