Dump. Stayed there in 2014 , Dirty, stains on the side of the mattress. When we realised there was an issue with some things after we checked in, the lady at the desk said to us , well you should have said something before you accepted the room. Pay more and find a nicer place. All the negative reviews aren't lying. Air Conditioner did work however.

Newly renovated, but still a grungy hotel. Does provide breakfast, but very mediocre. The floors felt damp and the room had an odd odor. Worst of all, our bathroom didn't have a door. Told the front desk and they didn't believe us. Never coming back here again.

My boyfriend and I arrived on a Friday afternoon and left within 10 minutes of arriving. Both beds in our room were completely broken and tilted over when sitting on one side of them. One bed was even being held up by a plastic ice bucket.??!! We paid $130 after tax. NOT worth it what so ever. I wouldn't of paid $20 for that room. Burn holes in all of the bed sheets, bad smell, dirty carpet, dusty, glass outside. will never go back.

I understood from the name of the hotel that this would be an economy stay with the bare minimum of what I needed. However, I was shocked at the level of decay that the hotel and room was in. The foyer was quite misleading with it being clean and modern. And then I stepped into the hallway where handmade carpeted boards replace stairs and the smell from the carpet reminded me of a sleazy bar. My room was adequate in size, but had numerous problems.
1. The outlet where the TV was plugged in was obviously a fire hazard with approx 12 things plugged in to the 1 outlet with multiple extension cords.
2. The shower head leaked so badly that it soaked me before I even got in the shower. Because of this there weren't enough towels to mop up the spilled water all the way out to the entrance.
3. I felt the cleanliness of the room was lacking. I don't like renting a room and wondering if or when the last time the tub has been scrubbed. And then I wonder when the last time the linens have been cleaned!
Overall I have to say that this stay was definitely the least value for my money ever.response / report this review -

When I got to my room on Saturday August 19. My curtain was off the railing. I called the front desk to get them to fix. They said they will get someone to come and fix it. No one show up. I slept in the room with my children window half open. I tried to cover the window as much as I could. I stayed in room 316. My sister and my uncle had the adjoining room 315 317. I stayed with econolodgr all over Ontario because of the price but the service is horrible.

Great spot! Good people. Shirley the manager and Raji were terrific hosts and most accommodating. Rooms and hotel were clean. Needed a light bulb changed and they were on it in a flash. Free easy parking, comfortable beds, good TV no complaints. Will return.

You get what you pay for. The front desk guy was quite pleasant giving us high hopes for the quality of the room. It was comical to see the room service is Pizza Pizza. The decor has a feeling of thift store with a surprising view of the beef factory. I enjoyed the police sirens checking in on us to make sure we weren't sleeping too much. The ratty half towel gave us a good chuckle. It was an adventure. Still had a good time.

Arrival at the hotel, the parking lot is very dark and unsettling. The hotel is already located in a dark and dingy part of the city. Skipping to our room, there are dark coloured stains all over the sides of the box spring. There were stains and burn marks on the blankets on my bed. Old pizza crusts, tooth flossers, dirty tissues, and empty dime bags behind the centre night table. The heater/air conditioner plug has severe burn marks on the wall. The only accessible plug in the room was cracked, loose, and broken. I will never stay here again not recommend to anyone I know

Amazing experience! The room was very clean and very comfortable. Bathroom supplies were re-stocked daily and the furniture and decor were very nice. The concierge staff were very courteous and eager to make our stay as amazing as possible. Overall, a wonderful stay. Will return!

When we arrived the carpet was clearly not vacuumed, there was hair all over the sheets and pillows and the shower had brown spots. We called to complain and they brought us new sheets, but we checked out an hour later and went to a different hotel. The only positive part of the experience was the gentleman at the front desk was courteous and helpful.
