A cozy little place in the heart of lambeth. A nice place to take your grandparents and their friends. If you like tea and rooms this is the place in the heart of lambeth to drink tea in a room.
Fresh, homemade soups, salads and desserts. Service is fast and friendly. An ideal place for lunch.
Lovely tea, scones, and biscuits. Worth every cent!
Not great
A very quaint setting for a relaxed gathering with amazing freshly baked scones with real whipped cream and preserves to die for! Staff is extremely accommodating.
We were a large groupof 20, but expected.. most tables had finished eating by the time our last table even got their food! The dessert as horrible! Don't order it. Rhubarb custard pie had no custard, was cold with dry crumbs on top. Others had a cold hard scone that we supposed to be warm. Main course special strata was good as was the squash soup.
Our waiter was so charming, friendly and helpful. We had the mango tea and it was wonderful. There were three of us for lunch and we were never made to feel rushed, it was just the opposite. The atmosphere was great and the food spectacular. I had the chicken/cranberry/pecan sandwich and Spinach Salad and it was to die for. I will definitely be back sooner than later!
Catered to my 99 year old Mother in Law's every whim.
Dishington's tea room is a unique tea room restaurant that truly has the atmosphere of the Englsh style tearooms. It is recommanded for your parties or just to meet with friends. Now I can also go there for my take out. It is the most friendly service you will find in the London, Lambeth Area. It's like visiting a friend
