I would NOT recommend doing business with Transat. They damage property, have you pay immediately on the pretense that they will fix damage, and then disappear.
See photos. Took them over 2.5hrs to remove couch from home, damaging wall and door frame in the process.
Said they would repair damages and then proceeded to ghost us ever since.
DISHONEST AND DISAPPOINTING.

Worst of all, the leader of the team that managed the move was TOXIC. Belittling and treating his colleagues in ways worse than we have ever seen. The lack of respect and outright physical aggression this team leader had towards his colleagues was shameful to see and made the 10+ people who witnessed the move cringe and even feel the need to intervene.

Save your money and go elsewhere.

Excellent service ! Super team. Very professional, efficient and friendly. Nothing is too big or complicated for these guys ! Loved their attitude from the quote to the the final clean up ! Excellent local movers. Their prices are very good, and their services "à la carte" allows you to personalize your move according to your needs. The take excellent care and they also have very affordable monthly storage.

The 1 star is for one of the worker that offered great service. The other mover, once at the second house laid around smoking cigarettes while I helped carry boxes out of the truck into the house with his partner. Just lazy!

Besides that, I had a exterminator come by the new house, weeks later.
In his professional opinion, the small amount of cockroaches seen in our home, was probably transferred by the moving company. Since we were their second job, their truck probably hobored a few cockroaches that found their way into our belongings then into our house from their first clients. Disgusting.

I thought I was smart by saving money on the moving instead I ended up having to spend more money in order to rectify the cockroach transfer to our home.

This company is a joke.

If i could give it less than one start i would. Worst service ive ever experienced. Movers are not professional, purposely come with smaller truck in order to do 2 trips, damaged items if front of me and then tried to lie about it. I made sure all the damages were documented on the receipt and 2 months later im still being given the run around. They are offering me $15 when theres over $2000 of damages and are refusing to tell me which insurance company they deal with. I am taking them to court and warning everyone to stay away!!
