✮ Lucy M. May ✮
⋐⋐ DAC - Danse à la Carte is happy to be presenting Lucy M. May’s solo work entitled "(Formica Asymmetry)." ⋑⋑
⋐⋐ Lucy M. May is a contemporary dance artist based in Montréal. Her performances, including "Vivarium" and "Esemplastic Landing," ask how environments thread their way through human movement. Formerly a member of Compagnie Marie Chouinard, Lucy performs independently with artists such as Margie Gillis, Susanna Hood, Ariane Boulet, and Alejandro De Leon, as well as Lesandra Dodson and Georgia Rondos, choreographers based in her natal province of #NewBrunswick. A graduate of École de danse contemporaine de Montréal and Rotterdamse Dansacademie (Codarts), she began studying Krump in 2016, recently becoming a member of @Jigsaw’s #GrouchFam.⋑⋑

APPEL DE PROJETS | OPEN CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The 5th edition of Carte Blanche will be held on Friday, September 21st, at the iconic Rialto Theatre. This key event in our season provides a platform for artists from within the milieu to share their work with each other, presenters and the public and is a VITAL moment for our fundraising campaign which runs in parallel with the performance.
-> DATE LIMITE: 12 juillet -> Nous recherchons une variété d'artistes spécialisés dans diverses disciplines (théâtre physique, cirque, danse contemporaine, rue, etc.). -> Toutes les demandes devront inclure un extrait vidéo ou un lien, le tout envoyé à info@dansealacarte.com -> Les extraits présentés à Carte Blanche sont d’une durée de 3 à 5 minutes maximum.
