From August 31 until September 3, the Winnipeg Art Gallery will be holding its exhibit for the Defying Convention Women Artists in Canada, featuring work by more than 30 groundbreaking women of the Modernist period in Canada, who not only challenged artistic conventions, but defied constraints on women's roles in the decades after the Victorian era. At Crocus Gardens B1 we are almost all moved in! There are some finishing touches on the exterior in progress. The lobby area will be finished after everyone is moved in to ensure the furniture and decorations remain in pristine condition. The numbers have been painted in the underground parking and the last final lines will be painted the end of this week or early next week. There will be exercise bikes placed in Crocus B1 in the next couple of weeks. At Crocus Gardens B2 the underground parkade flooring is being poured. The first-floor framing is currently underway!

Movies play almost every week during the Summer months outdoors at Transcona Centennial Square located at 135 Regent Avenue West! So bring a blanket and a lawn chair, and enjoy Black Panther on August 30th under the stars with some friends and family because this luxury won't be available come fall time!

Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn't mean that patio drinks should!
