An awesome experience at countryside.
I stayed there for two days approximately 30 kms from Grand bend and 40 kms from London, Ontario.
Good amenities, high speed internet,
Very clean rooms, perfect washrooms.
Very friendly staff in a beautiful quiet place.
And top of all very good price.
Would love to go back again.

Do not go to this motel if you want to sleep past 6 AM. The blinds and curtains are very very bad. Quality of room wasn't very nice either and the bed was hard. Very nice owner though.

called this place to book a roomthe receptionist didn't even answer the phone the first time then when he did answer he didn't state the name of the hotel..absolutely nothing then he tells me he has no rooms I can barely undertand him but before I could say pardon me he hangs up on me . rudeeee

disgusting absolutely disgusting! Nothing was washed nothing was vacuumed there was stuff all over the walls the room smelled like garbage. The place is nothing as advertised and due to that when I booked for a king bed I ended with 2 queens and was only allowed to use one bed and the beds are rock hard. I was told if I used the second bed the deposit wouldn't be given back. The cables were dangerously laid on the floor my son kept tripping over them. I found spiders and bugs in the room. I'm going to be making a formal complaint to health and safety department.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE NO ONE SHOULD STAY HERE
THE OWNER IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! THE ROOMS ARE DISGUSTING!! I will be taking pictures and posting them everywhere! With the hotel name and the link to the pictures which don't seem real. To top it all off the room gave me a rash all over my face,arms and legs. Also he saw this review and threaten to have me and my son escorted off the property.response / report this review -

The proprietor was very rude to us during every interaction. When making our reservation on the phone he kept threatening to charge us the full price for the room and refuse to check us in if we were even 5 minutes late past the check in time, when we explained we would be hard pressed to make it in time. When we arrived on time he condescending kept reminding us not to smoke in the room, when we had already asked for a non smoking rooms specifically on the phone. Very annoying! And the worst part is that in the morning he accused me of smoking weed in the room, which I did NOT do (nor did I have any in the room or with me), a room which already had a mixture of odors when we came in, and then threatened to call the cops about it if I didn't pay him another $100. They essentially tried to blackmail me. Do not stay here!

i stayed 3 night last month its really worth it for price, quite place, little outside town but not far, less then 5 minute tim hortones, grocery store. Everyday housekeeping, very clean, Owner is very helpful , i never seen owner like this,

This motel is awful and the owner is even worse! The rooms are dirty, they smell musty and there is mould in the bathrooms. Along with that that owner verbally berated my family at 11pm at night because of a request to pay to change our booking (# of people in the room). Apparently, 4 double beds can ONLY sleep 4 people. After he repeatedly yelled at us, he threatened to call the police and kicked out my aunt, her daughter and her 5 year-old granddaughter. We were forced to find them another place to stay in the middle of the night. We were also told the rest of our group (4 of us) were not allowed to stay for the second night of our booking. The owner refused to refund the second night of our booking, laughing at us as he explained that he'll never give us our money back. When we checked out he verbally berated us again in the morning. This motel is AWFUL. NEVER NEVER NEVER stay here. We were intimidated and verbally accosted by the owner, no family should EVER have to deal with that. This motel is a disgrace and the owner has no concept of what it means to be in the hospitality business. The Strathroy Motor Inn 3 km away is much better and infinitely more hospitable.

I wish it were possible to leave a zero star review not only is this motel mediocre when it comes to cleanliness, but when we went to settle for the night, the owner aggressively knocked on the door and demanded that half our party leave. We were in town for a family reunion, and due to stormy weather we brought additional family members with us as they were unable to set-up their tent in the weather. We immediately offered to pay for the additional guests, but the owner would hear none of it. He was verbally abusive, demanded that the additional people leave, threatened to call the cops if they didn't and encouraged us to cancel for the following evening (their cancellation policy is that there isn't one - once you've checked in, so say goodbye to any hope of a refund). I have never felt so unsafe while traveling. To top it off, one of the doors to the exterior didn't even have a lock. AVOID this motel AT ANY COST.
Our family was forced to find alternate accommodations at midnight. Luckily, the Strathroy Motor Inn was more than happy to welcome us and find us space for both evenings.response / report this review
