VIP Cinemas is pretty awesome, picking up tickets is a breeze, assigned seating, food + drinks, all wonderful.

The only downside is the wait staff for in-seat service sometimes don't come to you until after the previews have started which can be a little stressful. Worst case scenario they don't take your order - best case, your food arrives in the dark.

I'm a frequent movie-goer and have always had an enjoyable experience here. My go to theatre in the Fraser Valley.

Friendly fast service. Good food options now. A bit pricey, but that’s the norm since forever at the movies.

My only complaints are that the carpeting was very dirty and needed vacuuming and the washroom needs a mop.

$80 movie night out for 2. VIP style.

This past Saturday my wife and I went to the VIP theater to see Thor. Overall our experience was good. Good service, happy people and the drinks are wet. Uniformity the food i received was cold as ice. I had ordered the Buffalo chicken tenders the arrived 1/2 way through the previews. The movie was about to start there wasn't a way to signal down anyone once the movie had started and wasn't about to leave the wife and miss some of the movie to complain. So i recommend the experience but don't recommend the food. Had we ate somewhere else the night would of been great.

I used to come here and spend my hard earned money all the time, so i may enjoy that "Movie Theatre Experience". Never again. After spending INSANE amount of money on overly expensive movie tickets, crappy large popcorn and "Large" drink (more like a medium). I went up to get a my cup refilled because I had kernel stuck in my throat. I was refused a refill, because: "we don't do refills". I don't recommend anyone coming here and getting ripped off. $5.50+ for a "large" Soft drink and $7.00+ Popcorn. Absolutely atrocious. What happen to hospitality industry with standard costumer service? You are better of Saving your money and renting a movie on Google Play Movies for $4.99 at a comfort of your own home. PS don't rent movies on Cineplex App. I have had nothing but problems with renting from them. Rent in HD and get below average video quality or the app not working at all after already paying for the movie. I give the entire Company it a very poor rating. going down hill fast. Wouldn't be surprised to and more rating like mine popping up.

if i could rate out of 10, i would give it 0.5.

VIP theatre has the WORST customer service. Not worth the food/alcohol to have to put up with such awful ways of speaking to customers and handling their concerns. Manager Vicki was unhelpful and rude to top it off. Will not be back ever. Go to the Keg across the street from Langley Ciniplex next time!!

The staff is terrible, and my food was not worth the $50, I want my refund, the managers didn't do anything when I asked them why it took the cooks 30 minutes for the food to arrive in VIP!!!and I am definitely never coming back.. terrible managers and staff. P.s my autistic brother felt very disturbed when he was confronted like he was not a normal person.

My wife was not allowed in to a VIP movie with only a passport. Apparently they think they are better than Canadian customs and require more ID than necessary to even enter the country. We had to drive all the way home to get a credit card to get inside. Ruined our night out with friends and made us very late. A passport is the king of all IDs and should trump all others. They need to re-evaluate their policy.

Had an awesome time at the VIP lounge. Got everything we ordered with quick service and we enjoyed the food. Ordered fish tacos, pulled pork sandwich with poutine, and a cheese plate, then popcorn. Beer and iced tea to drink. Iced tea was a bit watery and popcorn as other reviewers have noted tasted a bit stale. Other than that, we thought the prices were comparable to any restaurant/pub and the food just as good. We'll be back.

Took the family for the Lego Batman movie. It was the first time for the kids and they loved the experience. The experience was great and everyone had a good time.

So they have a VIP section. Their menu looks good but that's all. Ordered our drinks and they came out quick but one of our drinks did not even have the "fresh mint" like it was advertised and tasted like cough medicine.

Then our nachos came out and did not even have all the ingredients on them, just chips and cheddar cheese no tomatoes, sweet corn, Monterey Jack cheese. And the side for the nachos were so small!!!! After getting them remade, they tasted so old and we did not eat them but still had to pay for them even after complaining. Wow. So disappointed.

Only good thing about the VIP is the seats, everything else just sucks. That's it. Stick to popcorn Cineplex, you can't really screw that up.. Right?

We order nachos in the VIP and the menu states corn, tomatoes on there. Our nachos only had cheese and jalapeños on it. And we ordered the guacamole for $2 extra. We were given a tiny little container of it. Wtf. Not impressed. Also our drinks were made incorrectly.

One of the best things about this cinema, and the other newer Cineplex on Marine Drive, is the new chair layout.

The front rows, with the walk way behind, in older theaters were pretty bad seats, audience members were simply too close to the screen. However, these newer theaters are designed so that there are only 2 or so rows in front while the actual screen itself is in a lower position. This new design lets people in the back retain an easy viewing angle, but also makes it possible to more easily enjoy a movie right near the front.

    Well done Cineplex.

    Not wheelchair friendly!

SoI'm a home care provider and I look after a mentally challenged person with cerebral palsy. I wanted to take him and my two girls to the movies. I gave myself a lot of time before the movie but the process of getting him ready and in and out of the car and to the theater took WAY longer than expected. But I got there three minutes after the show start, so we missed a few previews, no big deal.

The guy behind the counter talked a lot so the process of buying the tickets took way longer than I had hoped. At one point I had to tell him to stop talking and just sell me the tickets. Anyhow the theaters are upstairs so we went to go use the elevator. We were waiting there for quit some time so I decided to ask the staff if there was something wrong with the elevator. They told me the the elevator was broken. Why didn't they put a sign on the elevator to say it was out of order? And why did they even sell me the tickets if the elevator didn't work?

So I told the staff that if the elevator didn't work then I would need a refund. By the time I got the refund and manager came out and told me that we could use the service elevator instead. There was just one problem. Fifteen minutes had past and we missed the the beginning of the movie. I'm surprised the manager didn't tell the staff about the elevator or how to help someone with special needs if the elevator was broken down. They simply didn't know what they were doing.

I had to go home home with everyone feeling bummed out. I felt so embarrassed. Next time I'm going to a different theater.
