I was one of the first DJs and VP with Ralph, Rusty,Omen and JD Roberts (David Robertson) and many others (1971-75). We saw the college grow from 250 to 5k got speakers into all the residences and ran the station 24 and 7. Coming to you from the top Coleman House you are listening to the fine sounds of Radio Erindale:). Introduced news through teletype brought in musicians for interviews and live shows at the Magic Jug (e.g., John Allen Cameron Mason Williams). We had a blast.
Music ain't bad, but it ain't good either. Promotions are little to none; DJ's aren't enthusiastic, and they don't know how to mix properly. Barely anyone knows about CFRE Radio at UTM, and there are no DJ applications available at the HQ.
Cool cool cool.
