  Ever since I met Lucas I have been in awe of his gift for photography. I knew that if I ever got married I would want him to photograph my wedding. And by great fortune I found a beautiful wife, and was also able to hire Melissa & Lucas for engagement photos and to capture our wedding.
  
  
  
  Our engagement shoot was a lot of fun, and Lucas proved that he will go to any length to get the shot. The results were magical.
  
  
  
  On our wedding day Lucas and Melissa were gracious, creative, and a calming force in what could have been a hectic day. Instead, they melted any potential stress away with their experience and served not only as photographers, but as anchors to ground us as well.
  
  
  
  The beauty of Winding Violets isn't in filters or post production, they come right out the camera looking like this. They are painters with motion and light, with a real gift for composition. Seeing them work (and work together) is inspiring!

  Lucas did such a great job photographing our wedding! It can't be easy herding a troupe of unruly friends and family around, but he kept us and the wedding party on schedule while still maintaining a positive and fun atmosphere :)

  As soon as I discovered Winding Violets and Lucas' work, I was determined to have him photograph our wedding. My husband and I were very picky with how we wanted our photos, and Lucas was able to translate exactly what we envisioned into reality. His style is very clean and professional, yet extremely natural, and it makes for the most ethereal and beautiful photography. We can't thank Winding Violets enough for creating these amazing memories!
