Great work from Centennial. I just moved from Vancouver to Milton ON and at the beginning, I was a bit worried about my goods, but after the collection, my worries vanished. Everything went smooth, I really want to thank the movers as they were nice, kind, quick and professional. I also want to highlight the amazing customer service that I received from the office, available at all times. I didn't give 5 stars because this was my first move, I am not an expert in this field but the price was about what I thought it would be.

Centennial helped us with our move this past week. I was stressing out due to how large our furniture was and our 9ft sofa would only fit down 3 flights of stairs. Their crew reassured me that they are professionals and can handle anything that comes their way. Fast forward to moving days, the movers were complete gentlemen and went the extra mile to wrap all of our white linen furniture up multiple times for extra safety. They wrapped the fine art just like professional art handlers would. I was blown away. They spent a total of 10 days moving us to our new home and everything was in perfect condition upon arrival. I will always use Centennial in the future and will recommend them to everyone!! Thank you guys so much for the white glove service at an affordable cost. Forever grateful.

Centennial movers provided exceptional service for my cross country move. Moving can be very stressful, but Max, Alex and the entire team were very pleasant to collaborate with from pick up to delivery (including my car, which went on the train from Saskatchewan to Ontario). They answered my plethora of questions with patience and handled my belongings with care. I also feel that their rates were very fair in comparison to other quotes I'd received.
Given that they map out multiple jobs on their route across the country, you may not know your exact service date until 3-5 days prior, but this was a small inconvenience for the level of service I received.
Thank you Max, Alex and the entire team!

Centennial Moving Services gets 5-stars from me. I'm a single mom on a tight budget and had to move many miles away to help take care of my sick mother. These guys made the transition so easy for me and did everything they promised and then some. They consistently checked in with me at pick up and delivery to make sure everything was going as it should. There were more than enough movers there to ensure a reasonable timeline for completion from start to finish. They were total professionals.

My husband and I hired Centennial Moving for our move to BC! The move went very smoothly! All our things arrived safely and nothing was damaged. It took 4 days from pick up to drop off. Everything was very well coordinated and we were well informed of what was going on. Movers on both ends packing/unpacking did a great job. Very reliable. Happy with the services! There was a mistake in the calculations in terms of the weight of our items, as one customer was loaded on the same day after our pick up, but it was corrected. I would recommend them to anyone for sure! Thanks to the team at Centennial Moving!

    CRIMINALS! AVOID AT ALL COST!

They don't even deserve 1 star. They verbally threatened me to pay additional fees that were not within the signed contract.

The pick up was late and items were returned damaged.

All of the positive reviews are fake, generated with an algorithm. I hope others see this review so they don't have to go through the horrible and traumatizing experience that I did.

Move from Ontario to Vancouver. This is not worth the 1 star - the service started great, but was very poor after that. I feel sorry for the employees who they hire (on a whim it seem) to load and off load their vehicles, because they are faced with frustrated customers. The initial service to get the business was great and very responsive. They could not confirm any times of the day that the move would arrive until the day before - anyone living in a condo building would know how long in advance an elevator needs to be booked.

They agreed to a delivery window, and was very vague with excuses as to why the window could not be met. Eventually we were informed that the truck broke down somewhere - I fail to see how this is any concern of the customer. After delaying the delivery by 1.5 weeks, and inconveniencing my family and 10 month old son, they insisted on a specific move in window - once again an elevator needs to be booked and there is other tenants in the buildings - failing which I would be liable for extra storage and an alternate move in date. This insistence is of course done for the 1st day of the month – when there is not elevator available, and everyone in the building has booked the elevator way in advance for their moves.

After a lot of pleading with the building management, I managed to get a window for the elevator use. On the day of the move, they arrived 1.5 hours earlier, and tried to negotiate the use of the elevator along with someone else that is already moving in – stating that “it will be fast”, and once again disrupting everyone else’s plans in the building. When I met with the driver, I was told that the weight ticket and invoice to proof that the truck broke down is in the vehicle, and that he will be showing that to me at the end of the move. When the move was done, he said that I can phone the main office for such, and he will not provide it. All throughout my conversations with him, he was also very evasive, and could not tell me where or when the truck broke done, making me very suspicious.

If you want a hassle free, stress free, reliable move - Centennial Moving is not for you. Throughout our communication I was provided with excerpts from their Terms and Conditions about why they are within the legal framework of what is allowable - that is not customer service. One of which being that they are allowed to delay a move if the truck breaks down. Good customer service to me, would be to get insurance for business interruption, and get another vehicle to satisfy the agreement with the customer.

Several reasons why the experience was bad.

    1) During the quote process they raised the price per pound after I accepted their quote and said they couldn't do it at their original quote that they sent to me in writing .
This was a cross country move and I was traveling on business at the time and our move was about to happen so I had no choice and accepted it.

    2) 5 days before our move we got an email stating that the mover was coming the next day and we had no choice but to accept the last minute change. We were out of he province for work at the time and after speaking to centennial we realized that the driver just wanted to leave early .

    3) We didn't take possession of our new home until September, and I advised the sales rep that we couldn't accept a delivery before sept 1st. We got an email on the 30th saying that they were going to drop off our stuff on the 31st , non negotiable. We had to rent a storage unit and hire an additional mover in town .

    4) The final price ended up being more that $1000 over the quote because they said our weight was 4000 pounds when they did a detailed weight analysis ahead of time estimating it at 2500 pounds or less.
It should be noted we only moved a small portion of our 2 bedroom condo and all of the stuff they moved didn't even fill up half of a 10-15 storage unit. We're having the in town movers weigh it as they said it look to be about 2000 pounds.

    5) We paid for their packing service and the first box we opened contained an 80 year old chandelier that we got for our daughters nursery and it was broke beyond repair. All they did was wrap some small bubble wrap on it and threw it in a box.

So in the end we paid almost 4 times what they quoted us, it was a stressful experience and they broke our stuff.

    I recommend avoiding this company.

I was initially about to give them 1 star because they had my delivered 20 days (!!!) after the original estimate delivery time. My stuff (Saskatoon to Hamilton) went first to Vancouver (yes! that is ridiculous!).
They gave some discount because of that, but too little for 3 weeks delay.
BUT, I did not find them rude, they were great in their job, nothing was broken (really, even two big mirrors) and the price was good.
If there was not such a big delay, a 5 star they would deserve for sure.
Bottom line, good company and I recommend them, but don't count on their estimate times.

Worst experience ever. Movers showed up around 8pm and loaded until after 3am. (original estimate of arrival time from company was 1-3 pm) They were loud and had many of my neighbours awake. Broke many things. Plugged a toilet and left their garbage behind. Charged me my exact estimated weight even thought they never weighted the truck. Company staff were extremely rude and unhelpful when I called to question. Final bill $3000 more than estimated. Would NOT recommend.

I'm a computational linguist and I am looking for a mover. Obviously this company has excellent reviews, but I can tell you by looking at the content that about 90% of these are fake. The similar sentence structure, use of punctuation (exclamation points etc), average length of review (much longer than a real review), lack of variation in number of stars, and the fact nearly all reviews make reference to a family/friend, even the timeline as to when these reviews were posted and the sheer number of reviews written when compared to the number of reviews posted to other companies, should be a very clear indicator that these reviews are not legitimate. This is one of my biggest pet peeves in life. Seriously, if you are going to hire someone to write fake reviews at least hire a pro ;)

I was in touch with Warren, Gary and Victor throughout my moving process and despite giving them as little at 2.5 weeks of notice for movement, they understood my urgency and gladly accepted to help me move from Edmonton to Toronto. Although they were running behind schedule (i.e arrived late), they moved my items carefully (no damages noted) and to my surprise, my items were delivered in 2 weeks (initial estimated time was 15 business days). I was happy with their customer service, reasonable prices and will recommend them for any moving services.

Best experience! Moving can be a very stressful experience, especially if it's to another province, we moved from Toronto to Vancouver in March 2017. The company had a very competitive rate and the email communication throughout the process was top notch. Estimate stayed close to the quote and the movers were quick, while also be careful with anything that was more delicate. The only company I'll use going forward to handle all my moves. Thanks!

A crew of four wrapped all of our furniture with pads making sure that nothing was dented or ruined in any way for our move . We had many boxes, most quite heavy too. All was loaded carefully onto the truck for a safe delivery on the other end.

Perfectly! From beginning to end! They arrived slightly early and after introductions began work. They all work very well together too. Once at our new home they were very careful. We have hardwood floors throughout most of the house. Two worked inside and two out to minimize any dirt, water, etc. (we did have rain!). It went exactly as planned and they were very expedient as we were paying by the hour. We have moved too many times to count and this was by far the most professional job performed!!! Thank you all for making the difficult job of moving as pleasant as it can possibly be!
