This is by far the worst vet I have ever been to. The "doctor" doesn't seem to care about his job, or the animals he practices on.
The place is a mess. Dirty, unkept, unsanitary and smelly.
They have overcharged me several times, and have done things that were not discussed prior to being done.
The last straw for me was going into one of the exam rooms, there was blood on the exam table, garbage overflowing with used dressing and paper towels onto the floor, not one, but 6 used and UNCAPPED syringes on the counter. That is a completely unacceptable practice.
The "doctor" will mumble a few things at you, this is of course after barely looking at your animal, pretend to have to go do something than send his receptionist in to do the dirty work of presenting a overinflated bill of things that don't necessarily need to be administered.
To sum up;
Dirty
Unprofessional
Dishonest
Rude
And finally, unsafe to take your pet to.
Stay away.

I had a adopted cat only 9 months old, I thought she was pregnant the last while, her belly was getting so big. I brought her in today and he thought she wasn't pregnant and was her lungs, he said he can't tell until a xray. we did a xray to get bad news and the only thing to do is put her down, that she was in pain. Her lungs full of fluid. So we did. My bill was crazy! I asked for a deal and was crying so hard.
1st bill. Exam-$29, Xray two views $145 with tax $182.70. 2nd bill eithanization 68, sedative 31.80, cremation 50 with tax $157.29 All that to leave in tears with no Persian cat and he couldn't even cut some cost! My normal vet is surrey animal clinic we lost a Persian a while back with age they cut prices in half for us, for we lost our cat. Also when crying they ask if I want a paw print. That was another 65+ as basic I said no you already took all my money! She says maybe he can see about cutting some cost! Really on the paw print. Also to keep your ashes is another fee, why?? Do not bring your animal here. My elderly mother brought her lab here. When inside She went through the door as she was told. On the other side was a pitbull x. My mothers dog was bitten. The vet wanted $500 to put a stitch (1 or 2 ) in my mums dog.
The majority of vets suck and this one takes the cake

I had an amazing experience over there. Went to the surrey animal hospital and they were horrible. An animal was bleeding after being neutered and my husband and I heard the doctor say "would you like a refund?". After that we swore we'd never go there again. So we tried this one and OMG world of difference! Dr.Alex is Amazing! Kind, caring and both him and the receptionist are very knowledgeable and informative. They only want the best for your pet and provide the best service there is! I'm hooked and I'll go there only from now on.

Dr. Gill is a wonderful vet. I was seeing the previous vet before he took over the practice and I just have to say I am very pleased with the service and care. Dr. Gill is always accommodating and compassionate and everyone that I have referred is happy with him as well.
I would like to give an honorable mention to one of the vet tech girls in the front, Taylor, she is so great and always willing to go out of her way to answer questions and help out.response / report this review
