I stayed here last summer and the room I was in was newly renovated, they are taking big steps to upgrade all of their rooms. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and were quick to give advice about where to go and what to see in the area. The room was clean and well appointed.
We were here on a Friday in mid September and when we rolled into the parking lot it was nearly empty which felt like a bad sign but really this is just a quiet town when it's out of peak season! There's something super cool about this lobby. They've really made the most of what must be a fairly old building. The sweet branding helps, and so does the design of the lobby!
Rooms are pretty standard, but looked big enough for skis and snowboards to be swung around safely. Pillows were 5-star comfort and it was quiet (though we certainly were not with our music)
Shower was a bit odd - a built in but with a really low outside wall so we felt like even with the shower curtain we were contributing to a potential flood. Lots of towels provided though.
I didn't book this reservation but would choose this hotel again next time we are in Revy!
Stayed there last Friday and Saturday as there was no where else to stay. It is within top 3 of the worse dumps I've ever stayed at. Renovated???? Lipstick on a pig is what it is. If staying at a fleabag dump is what you want then have at it cause that's what it is. I would have gave no stars but wouldn't take.
I stayed at The Stoke before it was The Stoke and I can tell you it's 110% better than it ever was. No complaining here. Great improvement and thanks to the new owners.
Renovated and clean, however, didn't fully update bathrooms with showers much to be desired. Pet friendly, and very affordable, making a good stop for our young family and our dog, from the coast back to the prairies. Continental breakfast was muffins/pastries with coffee or tea. A little oversold, but a nice gesture nevertheless. Staff were friendly.
Nice beds, very comfy. Clean room. Front staff polite and very helpful. Quiet. Free coffee in the morning. Everything I needed to be happy.
Clean, comfortable beds, new pillows, and newly renovated. We came in late, there was someone at the desk who was willing to help us. Service was the best I've had in revelstoke. Price point is lower that 90% of the rest of the town and the accommodation was good. A/C can literally freeze you out of the room if you set it to.
I'll be back.
Was very nice rooms, shower wasnt the best
It had 24 hr reception which was nice since we were planning on driving through the night from Vancouver to Edmonton but we're too tired. Warm and comfy. Nothing fancy. But reasonably priced
Too expensive for the small, old room. Place needs a facelift.
I understand maybe back before the Days Inns, Sandman, etc came to town, that this would've been a great place. But, to be honest, it was a if no money was put into this hotel. The rate that was charged was far too high for the quality of the room. It was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen, and the decor was incredibly out of date and all mismatched. And the smell of the front entrance to the hotel was almost unbearable. I felt rude covering my nose, but I couldn't help it. Also, I don't appreciate being baked at by two dogs when I walk in the door. Not very welcoming. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly enough. But I don't need to see you crawling out of bed in the mirror when I'm standing at the front desk. Will not be returning, best of luck to the owners.
We just pulled in with no reservation. They were friendly at the front desk and the room was very reasonably priced at around 120 for 2 beds. Everything was super clean. I'd recommend.
