Very grateful for the kind, fun and expert staff providing urgent care for my pup who was brewing a nasty ear infection. They treated my dog so nicely, made it a positive experience.

Our regular vets and the team at Canine Companions went the extra mile after our dog had a major dustup with two bigger dogs at the River Park off leash area. I called Canine Companions and they were able to get us right in for treatment and affection (for the dog) and calming advice (for me). All is well and we left with our tails wagging.

I am really happy with Canine Companion and the treatment they provide my dogs. I appreciate the fact they specialize in canines, it gives them the ability to better understand what could be ailing your pooch.

Prices are some of the best in the city! This says a lot when the costs to take care of your beloved pets is extremely expensive .

This clinic has helped my girlfriend's dog many many times over the years and have helped her live a healthy life. Just a few weeks ago they removed a few teeth and now the dog is happier than ever. Super friendly staff!

These wonderful ladies are amazing with my dogs! They never do more than is necessary, never run unnecessary tests, and always make me feel like they really care about my fur kids. All of the staff are knowledgeable and they have great hours. Definitely check them out if you have a dog. My dog loves the vets here.

Missed diagnosis of cushing's. The Vet was more focused on the results of the blood-work than our indication that something was wrong. She was quite dismissive and didn't recommend further tests. We made two trips to this office, the last one in Aug 2016. We then went for a 2nd opinion in Dec 2016 to a vet in Okotoks, where they ran further tests and confirmed the diagnosis of cushing's.

This is an excellent clinic. We had our Newfoundland neutered there and have taken him for check-ups and other issues that have developed over the past couple of years. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Our dog loves going there.

    Not impressed !
I work too many hours a week and have trouble finding time to get to the vet . Eva, my 5 year old Labradoodle gets "itchy ears" every year or so.
Canine Companion has been good in the past and we buy all of our dog food from them. This Saturday I finally made my way there an hour or so before closing time at noon. I asked to have some of the drops for her ear that we had bought from them before. After the front counter lady checked with the vet I was told they could not supply the drops for legal/liability reasons as it had been over a year since the vet had seen her. I told her Eva was shaking her head often with the discomfort of her occasional "itchy ears". I suggested that the drops were not for a serious ailment and that the dogs best interests should come first over what I perceived to be an excuse for a full examination.
A cash grab perhaps? I bought some drops at the pharmacy for a persons ear problem and they seem to be working.
    I'm looking for a more compassionate vet. . . .
