Love this hotel! The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a great selection of restaurants (Spago's is fabulous!), the casino is great, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The ambiance in the hotel is reminiscent of Vegas! We are very much looking forwarding to returning.
We miss Caesar's Windsor sooo much! We always feel like we are on a mini holiday; only 3 hours away, and still in our best province Ontario 👍 Best staff ever! Great shows and food! Can't wait for you to open again!!
Great for a night out of fun! Drinks are reasonably priced. You can get a cold pint of Budweiser for 6.50$. They have 1$ roulette and it's right next to this new bar thay served craft beers.. including Bombshell Ale from Frank's Brewery in Tecumseh. They've got a high roller section.. as well as a wide selection of dining options; Spagos.. Nero's Steakhouse.. Johnny Rockets They do concerts as well. A little expensive but it's because the venue is quite intimate. There is only a 5000 seat capacity so the chance you are going to get a good seat is quite high. Parking for the public is free and there is always room despite quite busy weekends.
Great casino, I was shocked as I didn't know Windsor had such a cool place. Saw a comedy show there and loved it
i didnt post this review i have 4 of them that i never posted!?
Good place to go, will go back
Was the least organized concert venue I have ever been to in Canada or the us 1 door 3 lines into venue show started long before most of the floors got In The venue. Great show from Dustin lynch. Poor action on part of venue.
I travel frequently. Generally not fussy. But this has to be one of the less good hotels I have visited. Went there for a conference. I could write a long message but will keep it short. Worst was that the internet was atrociously slow. Everyone at the conference complained. I had to work two evenings out of the local Starbucks and my phone bill was charged for having to use it for data during meetings. As a conference venue it is rather bland. Seems to be great if you are addicted to slot machines.
My group of friends just got home from the casino. We were at a Halloween party in the casino’s club. The experience at the club was okay - music was mostly top 40 and the DJ was in tune with the crowd. I would give the club a solid 3.5 stars, however our experience upon exiting the club was absolutely awful. I entered the casino in a Halloween costume with a long red wig and makeup and no masks on my face. Upon entering, the lady who is likely in her 40s, short, chubby and with short mousy brown hair checked my ID and complimented me on the costume and said how much she loved Disney (I was a little mermaid) Upon getting out of the club the same middle aged lady requested me to take off my wig in order to exit the casino(the exact same away I entered). I’ve let her know politely that she checked me in and I already went through the process and that my wig is secured very tightly to my head and that my ID is pretty clearly me in the photo since my face isn’t obscured from view. Without looking at my photo the lady decided to get off on her power trip and let security know that I was “insubordinate”(?!).. this lack of basic customer service is absolutely appalling for a Casino establishment. Please figure out your rules and if wigs aren’t allowed then a large portion of the population who does wear them or wears extensions on a daily basis will be left out of attendending your establishment. It’s one thing to say that anything that obstructs your face isn’t allowed ( like a mask) and it’s completely another thing to dictate what one can or can’t wear on their head ( scarves, wigs, extensions). Train your employees accordingly. This woman was unprofessional and on a serious power trip. She yelled at several people and had a very short fuse. I will not recommend this casino to anyone in my vast social network in the future. If you want to be treated rudely then this is your spot.
Positive: Went there on business for a conference. We booked a nice room and the view did not disappoint. Nice, modern rooms.
Neg: We checked in at 5:30PM (check in is 4pm). We got to our room and the room was still not made up from the previous guests!!! We called, they said they would bring someone up to clean when we left our room. That's it. The cleaning lady in the hall was more apologetic than anyone we spoke to.
When we were leaving, we requested a late checkout by 2 hours. They said it would cost 20$. Fine.
The fact that no one came to speak to us after we had to shower and stay in a dirty room. No little apology note left after they came to clean the room. Nothing. And then they wanted to charge us 20$?!
We spoke to the supervisor to get the 20$ (on a 800$ hotel bill) taken off, and she apologized (after the front desk lady looked so unimpressed and unapologetic of the situation as well).
Then as we were leaving, we needed to hold our bags for a quick moment at the bell stand. The bell boy literally rolled his eyes at us and then ignored us, and someone else came to help. and I swear we are extremely polite people.
Anyway- nice place. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
The cleanest and best casino I've ever been to! Some of the best rock bands and music performances I've ever seen at Caesar's Windsor! Very clean casino gaming floor with courteous and professional staff. Always hoping for big wins but win or lose this is the best casino for me as well as the workout fitness room, swimming pool which is always warm, cozy king sized hotel suites with Jacuzzi bath and great restaurants and bars for great food and drinks!
Security is absolutely terrible. They looked at my ID (a 19 year old from Michigan) and immediately became rude. Asked for a second form, so I gave them one. Guard sarcastically asks "so how much have you had to drink?" Wtf does it matter? I'm legal to drink in Canada and did not break any rules, stumble, or slur any words. Just because I'm not legal to drink in the United States and am in Canada, doesn't automatically mean I'm gonna be drunk in Canada. Actually, I was 100% sober because I come from a family of alcohol dependency. People and workers in the casino all seemed miserable. Don't waste your time
Amazing decor with just about any game you can imagine. Staff are always friendly and willing to help, perfect for newcomers.
As well with top tier talent coming to play shows this is the jewel of Windsor.
Casino was OK. It's a huge place! No smoking in Canadian casinos is so nice. We stayed in the adult only side of the hotel. Had reservations a month in advance. Requested a high floor room with a view of the river in the reservation. We ended up on the 7th floor, with a city view (OPP side from the river) in a handicap room. They told us that was the only room available. There were no counter tops in the bathroom for my wife to put her makeup or necessities on. The sink was super low for someone in a wheel chair to be able to use. All the towels were stored in the back of the tub so we had to put them on the floor to keep them from getting wet when we showed. I wish things would have been nicer, I don't see myself making the trip again. Disappointing
Beautiful Casino. Beers we're good. The slots and roulette were fun. My definition of a good stay is I did not lose money. My idea of a great stay is I make enough to cover my visit. Well I did not lose on this trip so it was good. Hopefully next trip I can make it great.
Always a great time. There is a good team working here to make sure guests are happy. Hotel rooms are clean and modern, casino floor is clean and game attendants are very pleasant. Pricing is great and so is the food. You just can't go wrong here. Keep up the good work Caesars Windsor!
