First time riding in over 15 years. Things are straightforward and we'll explained.

You can go for anywhere from 15 minutes to 6 days on a trip.

Our guide was amazing (Amanda or Andrea?)! We had a fantastic time even though it was quite cold. The river was very high but we were able to cross at both locations which made an even more memorable experiences. The guides and horses were a little late but the ride made up for it!

Reasonable price for a lovely time, excellent for horse rider amateurs.

The horses are quite tame and must be very used to humans as the horses are easy to control and will easily follow the trail path.

The trail path takes you through some woodland, a couple of river crossings and past a tourist hot spot so expect your picture to be taken a plenty here.

Such a nice ride. At the start my young daughter started tearing up a bit because she was scared, and Sky (the guide) immédiatement stepped in, reassured her and offer to lead her horse. The hour ride waste gorgeous well worth the price.

I started off with the gondola ride up the mountain at 2:00pm, and that was fantastic. The second part of the trip was the horse stables and I planned ahead and gave myself plenty of time in between events. My ride was at 5:00pm, and I was able to show up with plenty of time left.
The ride wasn't a sleigh ride as in the flyer, because the snow was nonexistent in the town and only -3 at the time, but we were able to get a ride through the town on a wagon; western style. It was fun, but wasn't exactly what I wanted or paid for, so I cannot give it 5 stars.

That was my first trip to Banff, and riding a horse would be nice with my lovely wife. we were 15 - 20 minutes late, and after waiting almost 10 minutes for one of their management to discuss finding another spot for the next ride, we were shocked that because we were late, and missed that ride, we've lost our chance and she won't get us a refund, neither she'll try finding us a spot for the next ride . she claimed that was the stables policy!!!! the reason why were late, because no body told me when I phoned the stables to book our spots for the ride, that there was construction going on and a big detour on the way to their secluded location. My point is, its your fault we were late in the first place, because you should have informed us about the detour and the construction before I drove my car on unpaved & dirty road for an hour!.. I could see the ride from a distance, and there were horses without people riding them!! so there were empty spots, and even if there were limited spots, I offered to come back next day or whenever they have available horses for ride, but the lady wouldn't even listen in a very rude and disrespectful wayso I guess she would feel that ripping people off $150 will make her stables richer, but she doesn't know that she lost her miserable stable $ 150, 6 times a year.. I wouldn't recommend this activity to new visitors & won't go back their ever! I wish there is a score of zero to rate them!!
