Amazing food! Some of the best food in town and great service. Good drinks and wine selection. But everything is very expensive trade off is worth it.
Was here last night on my own, getting some work done. Tuna appetizer with picked pear and daikon was excellent as well as the salmon main. Attentive service, energetic environment, go try it!
The service was great and the food was tasty. Loved the cocktails! Unfortunately we sat next to the open kitchen. It was awful to look at, cluttered and messy but the worst was seeing the raw beef burgers out at room temp (or warmer), uncovered and next to the kitchen entry. Not only is it unsightly, but it isn't food safe (especially when only cooked to medium).
The seating is quite spacious and they have a neat decor there. There is an open kitchen. Where you can see the food being prepared right in front of you.
Good wine selection. Great appetizers. The main dish was a little small. Very pricey but fun to go to.
Parking is really rough. But it is as expected because it is down town.
We love going to Ayden. It is always a taste adventure. It may not be for the faint of heart though. The flavour combinations are usually not the mundane and predictable. Some diners, if not open minded, could find this to be troubling.
This has undoubtedly been the best restaurant dining experience in many years. We have been used to the standard fare at many establishments in both Regina and Saskatoon. But here the quality of the product served is superior as is the service from the staff!! Well done Dale! I can't wait for you to open in Regina!
Really very good. Subtle Japanese inspired mushrooms; local trout with a delicate broth. Good beer; nice wine. Laid back service. Ayden is having a moment.
Great atmosphere and service, with fantastic food. Service was prompt and attentive even though it was busy. Craft beer and wide range of wine. Selective menu with care and attention given to each dish; do not let the menu description fool you, even simple soynding dishes are full of complex flavour. I will definitely be returning again.
Ribeye was horrible. 1/3 fat and grissle. Rest of food was decent. Service was good, but suspiciously our waiter never asked how our meal was. Congress had a much much better steak and meal in general. I wouldn't return here.
Edit : so I did return here, and future meals were better so I improved my score, but avoid the rib eye!
By far the best food I have ever had and the best service. First time I came here was with a friend of mine and we had a great time. Fantastic atmosphere. Could not argue prices given the quality of food. Have been here twice in the last 6 months and both my friend and i agree it is well worth the 2.5 hour drive from Regina
Delicious! Had every appetizer, except the steamed buns, they're all excellent. Had the beef entree, also delicious, perfectly cooked. Tried the pork entree too, equally as delicious. Highly recommend it!
I've always been thrilled with whatever I've ordered here. The evolving menu of chef's and bartender's creations means a new treat every time. The quality of the food, staff, and atmosphere make the price more than fair.
Food was good but not spectacular. Salad was oily and overdressed. Fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The chef special sandwich was tasty but seemed lacking in some spice or anything to make it exceptional.
It was a good visit with good service. Prices are high but I'd come again to try some different dishes.
