Absolutely awful. Tasteless chicken teriyaki. Watery skimpy sauce with no flavor. Dry rice and mushy salad. Tempura prawns were pale and tasteless but the very worst is they use that horrible company called SKIP THE DISHES that charge $4.99 for delivery then they trick you on the bill automatically tipping the courier another %15 on top of the bill. So in our case the courier WHO GOT LOST FOR 30 MINUTES AND WANDERED IN WITH COLD FOOD got an automatic $30 total for his rotten service!!! For carrying 2 bags of food from his car to the door$30 And he was rude and belligerent over HIS STUPIDITY IN NOT FINDING AN EASY ADDRESS. HE WHINED THAT WE MADE HIM LOSE OTHER JOBS!
Called Otowa several times while the driver was calling us saying he's lost.NOT OUR PROBLEM MISS.he squeals. Called SKIP THE DISHES AND THEY LEFT US ON HOLD.HAD TO DISCUSS.HAD TO RING HIMRING US BACK.RESULT? ICE COLD FOOD!!!! NO ONE CARED. NO ONE OFFERED ANY COMPENSATION. WE PAID FULL PRICE FOR TERRIBLE FOOD WE HAD TO MICROWAVE. MICROWAVED TEMPURA IS VILE.
AVOID THIS DREADFUL DUMP AND SURELY NEVER EVER USE SKIP THE DISHES. THEIR REP IS AWFUL I NOW FIND OUT WITH 59% DISSATISFACTION RATE!!!! RIP OFF CENTRAL.response / report this review -

Nigiri fish was cut unevenly and inconsistent in size and thickness. Rolls were not cut into individual pieces all the way through. Service was very slow. Miso was thin and needed more flavour. Sushi rice was on the edge of over cooked and had no flavour. Tempura was nice as was the quality of the fish.

Delicious. I can't really say much more than that. The food was fantastic. If we ever make it back to Saskatoon we'll be in there again. Fabulous Japanese cuisine.

Friendly service & excellent supper, the steak is always cooked perfectly medium each visit, cozy atmosphere to enjoy the time spent here. Haven't had a bad experience here & I always excited to go back for more.

The food is amazing! The skinny roll was absolutely delicious. We were not disappointed with anything we ordered. Top notch food and friendly service. Cozy and beautiful place to eat. I highly recommend it!

Worst sushi ever! The place smells funny as soon as you ever. They tried to pawn off rancid mango sauce on the mango sushi. No taste. Won't be surprised if we get sick tomorrow. Gross! This 4.0 rating is lies.

Sashimi was fresh, chicken teriyaki was bbqed well, but the gyoza tasted sub par. Although, the ambiance is very rustic and cozy.

Chicken is just like a deep fried strip of batter with barely any chicken in it, served with sauce on the side. Was hoping for fresh chicken in a lighter batter. Crab Rangoon was a deep fried mess and not tasteful whatsoever. The dip for it tasted like an expired asiago cheese dip. Sushi was not fresh and the sushi I've bought at sobeys would have tasted better than this. Really disappointed.

Not very satisfied at all:( sushi all tasted pretty plain and the rice was not great. Don't think I'll go back. Once you have went to Izumi any other sushit just can't compare! So sad that are permanently closed now:(

I had the teriyaki salmon meal and it was pretty tasty. 20 bucks. Chill spot but these bathrooms need a reno. Probably same bathrooms since 1995 haha
