Food was good. Service was slow and poor. Servers were too busy playing on their phones and taking selfies.
Great food, friendly service. Very open relaxing environment, bright and cozy.
Great atmosphere and food. Good place to meet friends.
Casual warm atmosphere. Great place to grab coffee, tea and fresh baking or enjoy a full meal.
The food is okay, usually good but NEVER EVER order from SkiptheDishes from here. The order never gets delivered correctly and always something missing. When you call them, the staff laugh and the manager says he doesn't care.
I have eaten here in the past in the restaurant, the food is good but the service is brutal most often. You literally watch your food cool while the staff stand and talk for 10 minutes then decide to bring it out.
Wish the service was better.
I am a fan of the live music! One of my favourite winter hanging outs.
Food is always great, and I love that they always have vegan options for soup and cake. Staff are friendly and service is prompt.
Was dissapointed when we were told they didn't offer delivery, despite their website, advertisements, and even storefront saying that they delivered. Still tried it out, and overall the experience would have been alright except our salad came with two large, live bugs in it. I'm not really into eating bugs so I can't comment on how the food is. Was not able to reach management, but would have no issue elaborating on this experience if they were to reach out.
Always great service!! Love the atmosphere and food. Desserts to die for!
Definitely for an eclectic crowd. Great spot. In a bookstore. No deep-frier so don't expect fries with your burger. Food is excellent though. Allergy friendly with gluten free bread (sandwiches and burgers) and desserts.
Great fresh house made food
Sharing the carrot cake was great. Limited menu. The quesadillas were horrible - thin and not much to them.
Amazing food and mouth-watering desserts. I've never been dissapointed, the servers are always superb and the prices are reasonable.
I've always adored this place, and I've missed it so much since moving to BC. Currently out visiting in Saskatoon and my friends and I wanted to go there for some cake - stood waiting to be seated for ten minutes. Not one person would acknowledge we were there so we ended up leaving. I'm really disappointed.
Prairie Ink is more about atmosphere than a quick meal. If you're looking for basic large portions and quick service, it probably won't fill your needs. If you're looking to have coffee with a friend while chatting after a browse in the attached book store, it's a great place, with an interesting and eclectic mix of reasonably priced meals, beverages, and desserts.
