Great food and great staff
Great food if you order from the szechuan selections! If you are looking for Americanized Chinese food, you will be disappointed.
They make wonderful hot pots of all sorts. Expect lots of chilies, garlic and chili oil. Onions and peppers are plentiful and well cooked.
Service is attentive and while some of the people don't speak perfect English, they can and do communicate very well.
One of the best restaurants of its kind in the city!
Ordered Kung Pao, Vegetables and Chow Mein. chow mein had absolutely no flavour. Kung Pao had an inch of grease at the bottom it was literally swimming in grease. Chicken in the Kung pao tasted like precooked prepackaged chicken. I actually was hoping for a bit more authenticity.
very nice atmosphere and food was good too. quick service and friendly staff
Nice atmosphere. Menu offers some dishes that you won't find at other Chinese restaurants. The parking is always a problem and they don't seem to be open on Mondays.
Excellent customer service, great food that will not make you sick. There's guaranteed food with no mgs. I cannot stop recommending this place to friends
Hot Hot Hot fish soup. Boy oh! Boy. If you can handle this food, you will get addicted. Its a nice and reasonably priced. Do try.
The best Chinese food around. Always clean and food well spiced
If you want to try some less westernized Chinese food, this is the only place in SK that I felt like an authentic mainland china mom and pop. take advantage of it and try something new. Tell them you like your chicken in pieces ,sweet but not spicy, they may point out something on the menu that the english translation sounded nothing like it (haha). But some advice: their spicy cold dishes all taste the same. must be the sauce. The kong po chicken was terrible (again, this is a westernized dish, skip!) My fave there were: hot and sour soup, big plate chicken shown in the photo below that I took for instagram, baby pak choi and some eggplant & minced pork cooked in a clay pot thing.
Food came in very large quantity but the taste was disappointing
This place has great flavors
First time trying the food. First impression was a little bit confusing. Open space with minimum décor. A little bit cold inside for me. Appetizer came same time as it food. So far, not very exciting experience. Then we tried the food. It's not too often that you can get surprised by food in Saskatoon. Spicy shrimp dish was amazing. Great sauce with surprisingly good presentation. Medium size portions and very reasonably priced. Food for 2 people with appetizer and tea was just $35. That's almost fast food price. In conclusion, don't expect grade A service or atmosphere. It's a place for good, comfortable food.
I like the atmosphere
It is good decoration which shows a good place for dinning Chinese food.
By the way, to price is higher than others in SKtoon.
However, the taste is still good, and looks delicious.
A nice, well kept restaurant with good food and atmosphere. We particularly enjoy the crab rangoon and sizzling beef dish. We have been there about three times and only found the ginger beef to be unappealing (as it was too chewy) out of all of all the dishes we tried, with all the others being delicious.
