Took the Quick Start Plus with my daughter a couple of weeks ago. Had a great time and learned lots. All of the guys at the store have time for customers! Top Shelf!!!

Great experiences with Aquabatics! Knowledgeable staff that give you solid advice and try to get you into the right equipment/gear for what you need. Never felt pressured and in a number of cases I was convinced to take a rental for a couple of days first to make sure it was what I really wanted before making a purchase, which to me shows that they are out to help you not just sell you stuff. Took the Intro to Whitewater course and had a amazing time, learned a lot and met some cool people. Instructors were very knowledgeable and supportive the whole time, even when you were struggling with something they were there cheering you on and never got frustrated. After taking the course I feel much more comfortable out on the river!!

Thank you Ann, that was exceptional instruction in the intermediate skills clinic at Kanfest. I really appreciated you drumming in the basics again and again to
the group. I need that solid foundation to build my kayaking career on. Ps Thanks for the quick rescue while I was capsized under the raft !

For first time out, we reviewed safety, how to use the paddles and off we went. I loved every second! The instructors were very knowledgable and fun. I'm definitely signing up for more.

Aquabatics Calgary is an Approved Program Activity for Scouts Canada. We brought out our entire group - 27 youth and adults - for indoor kayak training at the Repsol pool. It was a fun, well-run evening.
If you're looking for paddle training for your group, you can't go wrong by using Aquabatics. Being an approved program activity makes the paperwork a little easier. It was a very good use of our fundraising dollars, and can heartily recommend.response / report this review -

I wish I could give it zero stars. I stumbled around the store for 10 minutes while the staff ignored me. Both employees were talking with somebody else the whole time. They weren't even talking about product? Just shooting the s**t about whitewater kayaking. Only whitewater kayakers are welcome at Aquabatics. I'll never be back.

Awesome store! Staff and service were absolutely outstanding. We needed a Thule fit kit, for an uncommon vehicle. All the other dealers I called said 5-10 days, which would have meant no snow fun for an upcoming trip. Tom and Ali had the part ordered and ready for pickup in a day. Pretty sure it all comes from the same warehouse.
We ended picking up the rest of the required pieces from here!

I took their Intro To Kayaking course, and it was so much fun despite the fact that I'm terrified of water! I actually have started paddling on my own and I'm so much more comfortable with being on the water. Thanks so much you guys, life changing experience. I would highly recommend them, great instructors.
