We take our cats there and they've been treated so well. No only is there no wait time but the doctors and staff are very caring and gentle.

We started coming to the Animal Clinic on 9th ave almost a year ago and won't be switching any time soon. Dr. Joe and all the staff here are great and very attentive to their customers and patients. We have both a cat and a dog and Dr. Joe has seen both and always takes the time to answer all our questions and address all of our concerns. There's a reason why they have many loyal customers at this clinic. The front staff is so friendly and they always take the time to acknowledge you quickly even if you are just picking up some food quickly. They call to check in after any treatments as well. Overall the service here is top notch, and their prices are good. We will continue to bring our fur family here!

Consummate professionals. They love animals and treat you with respect. They don't overcharge either, they are very reasonable. I'd like to think my cats are much healthier and happier directly because of Dr. Baker and Dr. Waldman and all the amazing vet techs. I have moved progressively further away from the core but will gladly make the drive to continue to visit this clinic. Lots of free parking.

I can not say enough about the care my pets have received here at the 9th Ave Animal Clinic. I haven't lived downtown for years but would travel across the city to see Dr. Joe and the others at the clinic. You can trust that what is recommended is necessary and there has been NEVER an instance where care/medical expenses were pushed and not required. From the front end staff to the vets, I feel 100% confident with putting my beloved pet's care in their hands! :) Rhiannon

My family has been a client of the 9th Avenue Animal Clinic for many, many years. We have always received the highest level of care for our animals. The veterinarians and staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough in their diagnosis and follow up procedures. I trust them completely with my beloved pets and can recommend them without reservation. I have always counted on them and will continue to do so in the years to come. Mimi and I love this place!

I have been taking my pets to see a veterinarian at the Animal Clinic for over 30 years. Veterinarians are knowledgeable and up to date on what is going on. The staff are friendly and caring. If you are looking for somewhere to take your pets, I highly recommend to to this Animal Clinic.

I brought my cat to this clinic to deal with a minor emergency as his normal vet was all booked up at the time. The girls at the desk as well as the veterinarian who helped us were all incredibly nice to deal with and the bill at the end was far less than I had prepared myself for. I really appreciated the way the staff communicated with me and took the time to explain everything clearly to me before proceeding with treatment. I even received a follow up call the next day to check in on my little fur ball. I will be switching vets permanently and bringing both of my animals here going forward!

We took our dog in today and had a really positive experience. The vet was honest, up front, and thoroughly explained our options. You could tell he cares about his work and his clients. I was also really impressed with the vet tech (I couldn't remember her name sadly) as she was so amazing with our dog. She treated him with as much affection and care as I would, and showed him just as much love!
We also were able to get in on time to our appointment, and we had only called to book in just the day before.response / report this review -

Visited here to make an appointment for my little 10 weeks old puppy I just adopted. The front desk young lady said they are fully booked for the day and that's it. No words, no further options for any other available dates until I asked, and it seemed she's not caring me at all. I made an appointment finally, but I decided not to go there and cancelled it right after I talked to another vet clinic. The other one was way way more kind and asked a few questions for my puppy.. and I could feel they would like to care about the puppy.

Great staff and doctors, great clinic. I was able to get in on a Saturday morning at the last minute after my recently adopted cat's previous amputated tail was agitated. The front facing staff were personable and welcoming and Dr. Joe Waldman was excellent with my feline friend, addressing my concerns in a professional manner. There was no rushing or hasty examinations. Pricing was reasonable and my cat's well being was at the centre of attention of both the doctor and front facing staff. I would absolutely recommend this clinic and will be going back myself!

Another disappointing experience there today. Was looking for a simple antibiotic to treat the same urinary infection that flares up once in a while in my girl cat, but of course they couldn't just sell me the drops.Once again insisted on me bringing her in for exam which, of course, costs 3 times what the drops do and will be added to the price. I'v had enough. If i do have to pay for another exam it won't be through them and I won't be buying my cat food from them anymore either. Since all they care about is money, they won't get another cent from me.

I brought my recently adopted kitty here for a check up and his second round of vaccinations. I thought the staff at the front were excellent. Very nice and accommodating. I like that they have free patient parking so there is no need to worry about finding a spot downtown.
Dr. Waldman did the exam and I thought he was great. He seems to genuinely care for your pet and I liked that he spent a lot of time answering my questions and chatting in general. I didn't feel the least bit rushed.
Since my kitty was a rescue they covered the cost of his first exam and only charged me for the vaccine. What I nice surprise! Only good things to say about this clinic.response / report this review -

Dr. Waldman is friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell he really like and care your pet. He is very meticulous when checking your pet. Always ready to answer your questions and give you suggestions. The staff there are so kind, they always give me a call after the appointment to make sure everything is on track. Great service and experience.
