The first time I stopped here was early in the morning for a rest and stretch my legs.These two doors capture my attention before I got out of my van.The carvings are taller than life size.The detail to the images are very impressive.The door handle is even carved with what I think is a grizzly bear paw.I was later told the carver was,Gordon Dick,from Port Alberni BC.A well known carver.Wow!
I have toured out Alberni many times to kayak the Broken Islands another great spot for Alberni.
