A unique and wonderful stage setting with good original plays. Allows you to bring in your own food, too.
Great plays. Staff does exceptional job. Nice night away for couple's.
Great local theatre that works hard to put on great performances in a unique setting. We look forward to seeing a new show every summer. Not to be missed if you're in Peterborough during the summer.
Entertaining, nostalgic. The singing and dancing was great. The cast did a wonderful job and we're very captivating. I came back to watch it again. Loved it!
I have lived in Peterborough for 54 years and have never been to the fifth line theatre till this week ( July 13th). My neighbour and I saw Bombers. And it was wonderful. The cast was tremendous and appeared to be having the time of their lives. It was dramatic and comedic at the same time. I even had to wipe away a few tears at the end ( hoping no one noticed). The wartime songs were wonderful as well. Take a second curtain call everyone!
Enjoyed our evening
Fairly decent shows
Very disappointed, just read about Shadow Walk , my wife and I were quite excited to go only to be told all sold out by Tuesday.Whats next scalpers.Dont think I'll be back.Very disappointed indeed.I would have thought live theatre would be a little more civilized .
Great local theatre with a local historical bent.
I saw Doctor Barnardo`s Children last night. My father was a British Home child sent to Canada in 1925 from Scotland, and so I was apprehensive about seeing a play on this subject. However, I found the play well written, the cast, especially the teenage and young adults phenomenal, the costuming and flow of the action well done and the change of emotional charge from tragedy to humour well handled. To put on this show in particular in this venue was very effective as farm life was very easy to portray. I commend all involved for a moving portrayal of an often neglected aspect of Canadian history which has affected many families personally.
Thank you.
