My husband and I were looking for a combo Belize package to stay in the Jungle and on the Beach. Rose at Rumors was so helpful in booking this trip for me. We stayed 3 nights at Rumors and 3 nights at Sunbreeze in San Pedro. They reserved all our excursions and transfers. The hotel property was clean and well maintained. Our room had a comfy large bed with a clean kitchenette where we kept drinks in the refrigerator. The bathroom was up to date and clean we just didn't have super hot water however, showers were still doable. The food at the restaurant was mediocre but the breakfast was always good and service was attentive! The front desk staff was willing to help give suggestions and call us a cab whenever we wanted to go into San Ignacio.
The pool is beautiful! It was so nice and relaxing facing the jungle. There is a bar with bartender and they play music, not many people during the week. However, on the weekends the pool is open to the public and more crowded. Children are suppose to stay on the pools lower level but staff did not inforce that rule. However, the children and local families did not effect my time at the pool because everyone was there to enjoy themselves and I had no issue. I would totally recommend Rumors Resort for a couple or a family traveling and would go back again!response / report this review -

A great place on the hill. Near the ruins. Great staff. Good was good. Hot water did not work but with 85 humid weather I was fine!!

Stayed there for my wedding anniversary. We were in room 5 which is a quite cozy room. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed it and would stay again.

Wonderful service. The lady at the front desk was very happy to help. Large rooms, TV, Wi-Fi, kitchen, balcony, shower. Ceiling fans. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay if your with your family or on your honeymoon. The environment is amazing the staff is very friendly and accomodating. Its out of town so your away from the traffic. And close enough to visit. Highly recommended.

Truly, hands down, the best hospitality in San Ignacio if you are.coming this way to explore ruins, rivers, caves and tubing add a friendly family of beautiful locals, great rooms, delicious food and a stunning pool area - with kiddies pool play area. This resort gets eleven out of ten for their professional attention to detail, warmth and going above and beyond in every way. SPECIAL MENTION to Leda on reception, Johnny and Joseph in the restaurant.

Awesome family owned property with very nice and clean rooms with excellent, friendly service. The best part is the food and the infinity pool looking over treetops of the jungle.

The room was comfortable and the food was edible, which is all I need in a hotel. The tour guide Onil was awesome. Id recommend this place to anyone.

Was absolutely wonderful. Well maintained and kept. Rooms are clean and my personal favorite was the veranda. Food is good and prices are affordable. Will definitely come back in the future.
