Rooms & bathroom should be updated & improved, but the overall stay is great. Pool, game room for adult & kids & resturant makes it almost perfect.

Rooms where so so clean. Beds are comfortable. The entire place has a run down look and feel to it. We ate at the in house restaurant on American airlines dime for a canceled flight. That is the only reason I would do that. The food was low end quality at best. Breakfast protein was hotdogs and American cheese. Props to the egg cook though.

One of the best hotels in Belize City. The service is great, the food is excellent as well. And I love sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean.

This is more of an oasis within the hotel and casino and not so much outside though there may be many excursions that leave from the do KS behind the hotel and casino. The sea water was dirty along the shore but inside the hotel there was tasty good food and great meals. Safe to eat. Purified water to drink and the normal bottled beverages as well. There is also a movie theater just inside the front doors.

Beautiful sunrise view over the Caribbean, but not much to do around the area. Hotel food is good!

Rooms are dated and could use a facelift, especially bathroom. Service was good as was the security. Breakfast was excellent.

Stayed here for two weeks. Staff was very friendly, rooms were nice. Parking is a bit tricky as there parking lot is minimal and they are almost piling cars on top of each other. If you are renting a vehicle during your stay here be mindful of this, although the individual running the lot does a great job and parks people in such a manner that most of the time there is no hassle going in or out.

I visited the Casino room, its small and heavy cigarette smell. I played for an hour and after I asked for a drink the waitress brushed me off. The playroom looked fun for children. I noticed there is a movie theater here too.

Place looks like it's had its better days. They sell water at the bar for twice the price you can buy it anywhere else in the city. It's priced like a resort and that's not a good thing

I love the casino here. The few blackjack tables are very friendly. The air conditioning in my room was outstanding, felt like I was back in Maine on a cool fall evening.

This place has improved but has much more room for improvement. With so much potential but little clientele.3 star is what you can get. Breakfast buffet was ok.

A little dated, but wonderful staff and beautiful view! Had some phone issues in the rooms, but I'm sure not their fault. Enjoyed our week long stay. And delicious breakfast, local cuisine.

After viewing the photos online I was excited to stay at Princess, but soon after I got there I realized those photos had to been photoshoped. Once you walkin the front door you are greeted with a metal detector, a man with an AK-47 and a cloud of cigarette smoke from the people in the casino. The gym was so out dated and all the equipment was rusty, the room also had a stuffy odor. The game room was cool but since its so popular with the locals it gets really crowded. The pool was ok the water seemed clean, but alot of bird poop surrounding the pool . The kiddie or hot tub ( don't know what it was meant for) looked like a dumping ground. Once we got to the room it had a moldy smell, paint chipping off the ceiling in the bathroom, the cleanlines of the bathroom was questionable I had six year old with me so I had to tell him not to put the paint chips in his mouth. The WiFi barely works in the lobby and barely works in the room. The breakfast seems to be the only positive thing and the Calypso restaurant in the back was great.I wanted to go to the movie theatre but was afraid that would be a dispointment too. The staff barely smiled but was always willing to help. This hotel has a lot of potential if someone cared to take the time.
After you get passed the shock of how the hotel really looks, it was a pretty decent stay.I donot think I would return. Maybe if they had a separate entrance for the casino it would be better.

An entertainment hot spot. This place has the only cinema in Belize. This is my primary reason for going here. They have the latest releases in movies. The game room is also a hit with the kids and teens. The casino and nightclub offer entertainment for the adults.

We arrived in Belize June 14 and stayed a night in the city. The room was ocean view! it was an amazing. I was able to use the pool and enjoy the evening with my friends and family. The hotel was nice and clean everyone was very friendly and helpful. Christina was the manager that made sure all our needs were met and she went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was also amazing the staff was very helpful and the eggs cooked right in front of you my friends enjoyed it. The restaurant calypso was so good the best fish i have had! Carlos took such good care of us. i am so please and i will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Not too bad, pretty basic really. There is a movie theater and a casino, on the waterfront. One thing missing for me that is, a beach. We had to fly to San Pedro, but even then seaweed had taken up all the beaches. Had to make do with the hotel pool.

This review is about the casino.

My friend and I decided to check out the casino during some down time. After a long security and check in process, we were permitted to enter. The casino itself is pretty small with pretty much all slot machines with a few card and roulette tables. It wasn't clear at first if prices we're Belize or US dollar, but everything is US dollar. We decided to try the blackjack table, but that was a mistake. They didn't share that they play one card to the dealer which completely turns the game against the rest of the players. Then on top of that it was unclear how many decks were being played and the dealer kept returning used cards to the deck after 2-3 hands.

It's odd, but I feel like the casinos in America do a much better job of transparency and setting your expectations in terms of winning odds. This casino is small, limited in offering and just steals your money. Don't waste your time here.
