The food was Good. It was the typical bar food with a seafood twist. The jalopeno poppers were delicious. The view from the dock was relaxing.

The location is awesome, located on a pier and sits over the water. The service is great. You can grab some lounge chairs and have some drinks brought to you. The place has tubes and a raft. All of this is why I give it a 5 star for location and atmosphere. The price is reasonable and cost is about the same as anywhere along the beach. The issue to us was the food. I got the nachos and they were not good, just kind of thrown together. My daughter got the Quesadilla and the cheese was not even melted. My advice is come here for some drinks and to hang out on the tubes, don’t eat the food.

Fun over the water joint. Cold beer, decent prices and great staff. Fish tacos are good but found a killer burger here, thing is huge! Live music often, if you are looking a place where you can drink in the Caribbean Sea while on innertubes, this is your place. Best view in San Pedro.

Gringo bar on the water. Definitely catering to American tastes but not necessarily a bad thing. It's comfortable and the dock is one of the best in the city. Food is reasonably priced and the buckets of beer go down smooth. Atmosphere is relaxed. Only complaint is they need to up their music game. Alternating between jack Johnson and American country music gets old quick- at least try to throw in some regional vibes. It is central America after all.

Over The Water - located just north of town core, swimming here is absolutely amazing. And it helps that the waiters will bring you your bucket of beers while you wade the waters.

Food is on point.

The owners are very socially responsible and are always looking for ways to give back to the community. Highly Recommended.

The waiter didn't seem very THRILLED to be serving that day. But the food was good and it was a fun place to swim and relax! I would definitely go back, for the swimming and sunbathing and the nice pier.

We booked the annual Christmas lighted boat parade tour for our first trip with this tour company, and we are so glad we did! We met lots of great people to visit with and the music was perfect all night long! The food and beverage was way above par and plentiful, even for our full boat! We run a business here so taking a whole day off to play is difficult, but we are excited to go on a Day Chill Cruise soon!

Live musicreggae last night. Happy hour here. Did not have any food. Over water at end of pier. Fantastic ocean view. Lots of American s hang out here. Many televisions..great place to watch sports,socialize and party. Tourits a plenty. May be a chainstill great though.

IF and only IF, you are looking for the American Bar/pub style of place, this is as good at it gets, gorgeous location.
IF like me you flew to the Caribbean to check out the local culture and music, stay really far away from it. Food and prices are really good.

Overall a good experience!

Server was great until the end when I had to track him down for the bill.

Prices are a bit on the high end for bar food.

The food was pretty good. The smoked fish dip was really good so we had high hopes for the meals.

I had the blackened grouper which was excellent!

My wife had the ceviche which wasn't really ceviche as the fish was cooked. Also, it was supposed to be a mix of fish, shrimp and lobster. There was very little lobster.

With all that said, we will return. The setting is awesome - built on the water, with lights in the water to attract sea life and some unique lighted palm outlining the dock!

Great place to hang out. The food was teally good. Really like the idea of the floaties but beware the water is a bit rough because boats are always passing by. Still good to hang for a bit.

Good, child-friendly place for food, drinks and live music. The inner tubes are a great way to enjoy the sea, floating above the numerous sea creatures which frequent the area, including rays, barracuda, squid, crabs and reef fish. The lights in the evening make this a great spot for an evening snorkel.

Great band! Great for families since they have water tubes outside connected to the bar. And you can write whatever you want in permanent marker anywhere in the bar! We only had chips and "salsa" picoBut the pico was amazing!! So fresh.

Food was good. Waiter was attentive. Beautiful, open setting. Decent prices. Floating innertubes were perfect to cool off in the water while waiting on food.

Love the place the atmosphere has a awesome tropical feeling. Everything i had on the menu was tasty, if you just want to sit at the bar or at a table you can walk into the water and float on one of their tied up inner tubes while drinking a ice cold Belikin beer (local). The music that is playing is today hits but with a Caribbean sound.

Fun beach vibe restaurant/bar. This place is pretty big inside. I heard they were destroyed by the hurricane; glad they were able to rebuild. The location is awesome, at the end of a pier. The snapper fritters were very good and the drinks were tasty. You also can leave your mark here and write your name or a message on the table. Definitely will be returning to Palapa.

Very fun place to hang out over the water and enjoy the tropical breeze. Popular with locals and tourists and definitely a San Pedro must-see place. Grab a beer and float on the tubes in the water.

I really enjoyed the food even though it is very American. I recommend the conch fingers or burgers. 6 beers for 25 bz which is 12.50 US. Also the bartenders were great. They were very friendly and they hooked us up with a local rate on a golf cart which was awesome!

Great place to hang out all day just drinking and eating over the water. Inner-tubes are available right off the end of the dock if you need to cool off.

A picturesque place by the water. This bar is lively and serves great cocktails. We grabbed a drink here one night and even though there were 30+ people here, the place is large enough that you can still relax. Definitely stop here for a drink!

A great place for food and drinks. The food was okay, not the best, but not the worst. Drinks were good with plenty of variety. The view is awesome and perfect to catch the sunset. Maybe it was just a one time deal, but man their music selections were just horrible, nothing but a stream of depressing numbers that just killed the island/vacation mood.
