I had a disappointing experience at Stella's. We came on our last night in Belize and had a unfortunate series of events, one after another. First, we waited about 15-20 minutes to place our order and get our first round of drinks. Next, we waited about 45 minutes before being told that the restaurant was out of what we ordered. We adjusted our order, then waited still another 20 minutes for food. After eating, we waited about 10 minutes to get the check, then finally got up and went to the bar to force the issue before leaving. Despite the long wait times and being out of food, there was no discount given on the bill.

The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but the ambiance was lovely. It seems like a great place to grab a drink and watch the sunset, but perhaps not much more than that.

This is the real Belize with on-site American ownership and attention to detail. (Read: quick, dependable service ;-)). Fresh ingredients, great wine selection, great sunset ambiance. Also, don’t miss the Sunday Brunch! Crepes are amazing!

A hidden gem. The crepes were amazing and the atmosphere at night is perfect. The only thing I would suggest is that it is hard to tell where the restaurant is when you park at the road .

Went for dinner, ordered shrimp ceviche as appetizer. Was the super tiny popcorn shrimp I'm pretty sure wasn't local. mostly tomatoes VERY small portion of shrimp. Wine was old/turned, service rude. Didn't stay for dinner. Disappointed to say the least.

Great experience and ambiance. Definitely has the best pizza on the island and we tried a few. Perfect spot to watch the sunset, and worth the drive across the bridge to the north side. The service was a perfect balance of attentive but not overbearing. This place is great for a romantic evening, or a casual bite and beer at the bar. We will definitely be back.

This is an excellent location for dinner/sunset in San Pedro. Hands down the most friendly, efficient and helpful service we experienced at any restaurant in Belize - a highlight of our trip. The servers were great, and owner gives a warm, personal touch to your visit.
The dinner was a set menu (chicken or fish) - simple, but extremely tasty, well apportioned and presented with pinache. The appetizers were gorgeous as well (see pics). The bottomless sangria was very much 'bottomless'. Desert was smores with real Graham crackers over an open fire! Overall, really great dining and we very satisfied.
I would highly recommend you make reservations, as the prime dining locations for sunset are on the dock and they fill up quickly. Reservations are probably needed regardless as they turned loads of people away while we dined.
The sunset was fabulous, very romantic, but this is a great place for friends as well. Cocktails were quite good and the wine selection is very decent.
You must try this place, you won't regret it.

Amazing place 100% recommend. The owners know the value of connecting with their guests and made us feel like we were having dinner at their house (which we kinda were because the place is in their back yard) if you go on a Sunday you can have delicious crepes and bottomless mimosa. But we here the other days the food is just as good. I commend the staff also as they were very attentive. Make this a must go to!

Reliably excellent food at a great price. Different specials depending on the day of the week. The owner is very hands on and friendly with some pretty funny stories. If you need something and they have it, you'll get it quick. Also, when they say bottomless sangria or mimosas, that means you won't see the bottom of the glass unless you tell them to stop refilling it. They take this as a point of pride it seems. Go here at least once for dinner.
