Very calm, little airport
Great to see all the improvements.
it's good to see, ambergris cay has a regular airport. can only be a major improvement over the previous, when the wheels of your plane were on the edges of the gravel runway. problem, though, the new runway has made the trip less risky, consequentially, more hotels. beware going off the beaten track, as you will encounter more mosquitos per square inch than anywhere on earth, practically. one bright spot, in san pedro sula, there is a small cafe on one of the backstreets that serves the best fish tacos, you may ever find. take cover at night downtown, they may still have a tanker truck that comes down the main street spraying repellent. if you came for the beaches, watch out for the sharp sea grass. i would suggest visiting the southern half of the cay. up in the hills is a place i recommend highly, cha creek. beautiful to visit and explore the river.
It’s way better than the Maya Island Air Terminal however Maya does have cheaper flights and they are in the process of building their own fancy one.
Great flight with wonderful views of the the sea and islands. Flight was very quick and luggage was received immediately to landing.
small airport but very good
always clean
Small airport surrounded by houses, hairy landing, don't panic when loud beeping begins
Well maintained and we'll managed.
I hate it because you have to pay for your tickets that are 3 46 999 dollars
Nice strip next to San Pedro town on La Isla Bonita with a tiny, but well organized terminal and free coffee while waiting!
