The resort was gorgeous! It's out of San Pedro town far enough to be quite and peaceful. However not so far that you can't easily get into town. The staff for the resort were great, respectful kind and really want to make you're stay a great experience.
My only complaint was my spa experience. I don't know what the issue was, but I could hear the supervisor talking to two of the other workers about the girl that worked on me. She did a fantastic job! One of the best massages I've had.
Her name was Sherlette. But the others were so catty it soured my mood. I would definitely go back for a treatment from her but not if that silly school girl attitude continues. I hope they get this worked out so I can enjoy my next trip.

Las Terrazas is a fantastic resort located just north of San Pedro. Incredible condos and immaculate grounds are why this place is so popular. Right on the beach with an awesome pool will keep you coming back.

My Husband and I traveled to Belize for our 35th anniversary, and selected this resort primarily because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. The resort is really a beautiful place, we encountered a group of very professional employees! WHICH WHERE VERY ATTENTIVE. The food at the O restaurant was AWESOME! ! All the dishes where Fantastic! The place is very lay back, we traveled in May, which I was informed this is not a busy time. So if you like layed back this is a good time to stay at Las Terrazas Resort. The accommodation where very high end, the units have washer and dryer, housekeeping is available everyday and turn down in the evening. Transportation into town is available by water taxi or you can rent a Golf Cart which only takes about 20 mints to drive into town. The beach is Not the greatest, but right of the pier you can jump off, go snorkeling, fish and have your catch cooked by Poppy the chef!

A well maintained and inviting resort, very close (13 or so minutes by complementary kayak) to the very healthy and vibrant reef, which has some amazing snorkeling views.
Accommodations are quite comfortable and spacious, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The pool is salted rather than chlorinated (which we really liked), bikes are complementary and golf carts are available to rent by the hour for the 15 minute ride into town.
The dive shop is wonderful, the instructors (especially Raul) are expert teachers and great guides. We did the discovery course in the pool, then enjoyed several dives in different spots along the reef.
The restaurant (called "O") has good food, and while is not inexpensive seems to be comparably priced to other restaurants in the area and in town.
The only drawback we experienced was the large amount of seagrass in the water by the shore, making the beach pretty much unapproachable, but that seems to be a fairly wide spread problem in the region.

reason i loved it is because it was so unique and the place is beautiful. Leron was an amazing person, that not only helped us out during our stay, but became a good friend. Im glad that he was there, because he showed us around Belize and shared many things about the history of Belize. Leron is really a great person (two thumbs up), and thank you for a great staff and wonderful attention.
