If you are a party animal you will love staying in this hostel. For those who want to get some rest after a long day traveling or snorkeling, please go to another hostel. The walls are so thin you will hear the couple next door doing their business, the bathrooms consist of a shower that you could literally take seating on the throne due to the tiny size of it, and the so called kitchen is disgusting. The only electric stove doesn't work properly either. Also you will have to wash the dishes in a bathroom sink down the hall with no sponge Also on some days the bar downstairs keeps the music loud quite late at night as well as customers shouting.

Awesome hostel with awesome people! The people running the place are superfriendly and have worked Hard to get the place up and running. The bar is a great hangout place at night. Overall the Perfect place for the budget traveler. The rates are cheap and it gives good value for the money. Dont understand what people with the bad attitute expect! If youre looking for luxury dont choose a hostel

I disliked the shared bathroom. However if all you need is a place to crash after a long day vacationing with your buddies and don't mind bunk beds, then it's quite fine.

Eh. The mattress was terrible and the AC didn't work well.. which is necessary on Caye Caulker. The bathroom was wet style (toilet and shower in one room) with sink outside. It was less than awesome.

Not much of a guest house. To me, it seems like the homeowner is willing caoitalize on low budget tourists by leasing rooms, but the house is not in the best shape.
The bathroom consits of a shower sitting directly above the toilet sit (i was amazed), a.c. didn't works, room window wont stay open and the rooms were very humid.
In short,I see Juan's as a work in progress, perharps in 2-3 years I can visit again and provide a high rating.

Enjoyed my stay there a lot, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Private rooms are great and cheapest on the island.

Its just next to a mini-market and basically close to the fun areas

Good place with a bar, not expensive and definitely a meeting space. But the air conditioning is a little bit noisy, so not recommend for person who needs big quiet for sleeping.

Nice place for budget backpackers. Owners are friendly and most roommates have been nice and informative. Very clean and close to the tour places.
