5 stars if you are on a TIGHT budget, and just need a place to stash your bags and possibly sleep. This hotel is quite basic, so if you seek luxury, this will not be the place for you. The staff is friendly. Also, there is a golf cart rental downstairs, and the prices are competitive. However, there is a bar downstairs as well that plays very loud music all night. The AC was not working well in our room, but I didn't want to ask to change rooms for fear that we would be put closer to the loud music. Also, the bathroom curtain was filled with mildew and I believe that the toilet was leaking because a large towel was rolled underneath the pipe. It wasn't dirty otherwise. It's not what I expected at all. I do not know if my rating is fair in that sense. However, I have gotten better rooms for the same price elsewhere. To be honest, San Pedro is pricey and in terms of deals, the price is what the hotel has going for it.

This is more like a hostel than a hotel. Very basic accommodations. Mildew in the shower and a rusty wall anchor where a soap dish used to be. There was hair and an empty soap packet in the shower from a prior guest. There was something green on the sheets. It looked like baby poo. It was dirty. No microwave, phone or ironing board and iron. And ANTS. Live ones and a window sill full of dead ones. The beds were AWFUL. The owner/ manager acted like he didn't understand English when I asked to get a refund and check out as soon as i saw the room. He sent the housekeeper to clean the bugs. He gave me pushback about changing all the bed linen. I asked for a different room. He wouldn't do that. I insisted that they change both beds since he would not issue a refund so that we could leave. After a very uncomfortable night, I insisted that he allow us to check out and issue a refund. By this time I informed him that I have enough pictures to give a true description of his property. This was after learning from my credit card company that he DELIBERATELY declined my card in order to get cash for the room. I knew there was plenty to cover the charge and there was no issue using it in Belize since I did use it the day before. I felt this was a dishonest business practice. If you only want cash, say that. Don't force decline a card to embarrass the consumer so that you force them to use cash. I would NOT recommend this place. We got our refund for the last two nights, checked out and found a cleaner place to stay.

Mon dieu que c'est cher pour ce que c'est! Chambre 9, la salle de bain est degueuOn a cru apercevoir une dent au fond de l'évier. Literie très moyenne. Vous pourrez certainement trouver mieux

Pretty basic hotel but good for the price. Pretty clean. No room service, Wi-Fi was spotty. A/C worked well.
