The Almond Tree this a quaint, 10-room resort in a quiet area. Beautiful views of the Caribbean, with a small private beach. The pool is fairly small, but it's refreshing and has a waterfall feature. The staff is friendly and happy to take care of any need you have. The food at the restaurant is very good as well. Two friendly dogs and a curious catamundi named Rocky and to the experience. Highly recommended if you find yourself in Corozal.

It was wonderful, the beach was lovely , and the pool a plus. The staff was superb, foods were great, the plates so nicely displayed. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Easy access to the town of Corozal. Fantastic place to stay.

Almond Tree has the best chef. The food here is better than the other restaurants I've been to in my travels through Belize. It's very quiet. If you're looking for solitude and relaxation this is the place. It's very pretty and comfortable. The grounds are lush with tropical plants. The pool area is beautiful. It's right on the water. There's two very sweet dogs to greet you upon arrival. Even a resident coatimundi. The staff is friendly and there to help when needed.

Haven't been there yet but definitely plan on going, moved in just two houses away. How much are your rooms? What is your menu like,? I hear it's very nice there.😁

    TERRIBLE!!!!!!!
The place we stayed was 2 adjoining rooms with a sitting area. It was very spacious for me and my husband and 3 kids. However eventhough the place had two A/C unit we could never get the room to cool off day or night. They have louver windows which do not seal shut so it is always hot inside the room. We paid $175 a night which is more than we have ever paid at any other hotel in Corozal on previous vacations. BE AWARE there is an animal that runs around the property similar to an African Ant Eater. It will chase you around the property and it will shreak at you and come inside your room if you don't close the door quickly. I was terrified been chased all the way to my door by this animal, which the owner said was perfectly okay. The owner also had her personal dogs on the property which bark all night long. I would never recommend this place to friends nor family. I personally feel that it is okay if you have a pet but you need to consider your guest because not everyone likes animals.
I stayed here in June 2016 and I am sorry I took too long to put a review.

    Thank you

Way over Priced! This place is run down, if you get the room in front with the view, you have to keep the drapes close because the other guests walk by staring in your room! We went to make coffee it still had the coffee grounds from the last guest gross! $525 for three days was a rip off! There are much better places to stay.

To expensive what you get. Also breakfast is very expensive. And paying for coffee separately? This could be a very nice place, but it needs some reorganization first. It's not worrhy for a starred resort in Lonely Planet like this.
