  My girlfriend stayed here for her graduation dates (2days, 1night). The price was very good and you got lot more for your money. The room had AC, a refrigerator and king size bed. It had a fan and a cable television. Apart from the the sea directly in front of the hotel, you just have to cross the highway and you're there. Now I noticed that they did room service as well and they gave her new soaps and towels. The owners were very friendly as well so that's a plus.
  The sad part is that it is on the outskirts of the town but that's no problem for those who love to walk. Either way it's directly in front of the highway in case you need a cab or a bus.

  Rosita and Juan Carlos were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We felt completely at home and the hotel is conveniently located to everything. The rooms were very clean and the wifi connection was strong. I have nothing but great things to say about Hotel Maya! I would stay there anytime.

  Besides the place being quite it is very close to the caribbean sea and can easily go swimming by just crossing the highway. To say the lease the highway separate the hotel and the sea. The owner lives on the permise which makes it easier to access.
