We went here for honeymoon. It was so beautiful and remote we enjoyed the waterfalls very much and the people were so kind. Make sure you rent a 4 WD to drive from Belize city because the roads aren't paved and follow the instructions from localities or the hotel staff how to get there.

This was an unexpected did oasis in the middle of Pine Ridge forest. The lodge is beautifully set on the river and overlooking falls. We ate here three times and they took care of us. Don’t miss the picnic lunch they will pack for you when you travel to Caracol.

Beautiful, out-of-the-way location. Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable. It's small enough to get to know the other guests, but the rooms are remote enough to really disappear. Good food and fun cocktails. Wonderful adventures (Mayan ruins, waterfalls, caves, forest) nearby and the team at Gaia made everything from planning to executing to coming & going effortless.

The perfect jungle hideaway. The staff was very friendly, the views were sublime and the food was great! The road, while a bit rough, really adds to the overall experience. If you are driving out here, please make sure you do have a 4x4 - you'll need it!

We stayed at Gaia in December and had an amazing experience. We've traveled quite a bit and I would say Gaia made this one of my favorite trips. Everything from the waterfalls to the private ruins tour, food and service was impeccable. I would highly recommend.

Gaia will forever hold a special place in me and my wife's hearts.
Arriving after a 3 hour ride from the airport, we were greeted with a cold wet towel to freshen up with, and a cold drink to welcome us.
The resort is beautiful, with a great view of Privassion Creek, huts have palm leaf thatched roofs and beds are the welcoming fluffy white with a story like canopy.
We visited about 3 weeks after hurricane Earl caused some pretty significant damage and other than the Nature Trail, it was pretty hard to tell anything of substance had happened.
For us however, the most appreciated detail was the staff and their attentiveness. I can specifically remember and thank Nigel, Lucy (Lucely), Troy, Aisha and Ruben, however the thanks goes to the entire staff. They've treated us the best we've ever been treated and we will highly likely visit again in the future.response / report this review -
