All I have to say, is hands down, this is the place to stay! The staff here are so excellent in wanting to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The staff are what make this place.

Our room was comfortable as was the bed. There is no AC, no TVs or internet in the rooms and it's just PERFECT! We were so tired from our activities that we spent a little time reading after dinner and then went straight to bed.

The food was always healthy, fresh and tasty! We had more than enough to eat. We stopped at a grocery store on our way in and didn't touch anything we purchased until we left Duplooy's.

Seriously, the staff makes this place and we really wish we would have stayed in at Duplooys for our whole stay in Belize. The owner made herself available to us and chatted with us each time she saw us.

One point - you'll want to eat outside, so get to meal time early to grab one of the limited seats!

We will be back!

I didn't stay, but the river access and view of the cliff face is spectacular, the bar views are wonderful (it feels like you're in Disneyland, only better), and the Botanic gardens are good. 4 stars instead of 5 because due to food being a bit bland.

Stopped here while canoeing to check out the Botanical Gardens. We grabbed lunch (delicious and reasonably priced) in the bar area, chatted with the friendly guests and staff, and watched toucans and brown jays feast on watermelon and pineapple. I can't comment on the cabanas, but my experience here was great and guests that I chatted with seemed to love it too.

Best place for birdwatching in the jungle of Belize. Maybe a bit overpriced to stay overnight, not only because there is no AC, but still, very beautify eco lodging here.

DuPlooys was wonderful! Out in the middle of the jungle, right on the river. The staff were friendly, food was Amazing, and the adventures were awesome! REALLY Loved this place!
