Wonderful site. Not as big as some other sites, but more intricate and revealing. Highly recommended.

Clarissa falls resort was my favorite place to visit, Azucena owner and hostess was friendly and kind. SHE makes the best food too.
She reserved wonderful guides for our tours.
The whole experience was wonderful and i will return as soon as i can to experience more of this beautiful place.response / report this review -

Wow, I would rate 10 stars if I could. Chena is so wonderful and really makes this place special. The grounds are unbelizable and you won't go wrong staying here!! We'll be back

My friend and I stayed at this lovely place for one night. Chena was very sweet and even made a special tea for me since I had come down with a stomach bug and the tea literally cured me! The food was awesome, good vegetarian options too. There are farm animals and friendly dogs on the property. The rooms had no AC but stayed really nice a cool with a lot of shade and a good breeze. I get hot and uncomfortable very easily but slept like a baby in the cabins here. Chena's cousin, Santiago offers horseback riding up the road with rides to the local ruins, totally worth it if you have the time. It's just a peaceful and wonderful place to stay in Belize. Skip the overpriced hotels and stay here you won't regret it! And thanks again Chena for the medicine tea! : )

Clarissa falls is your "jungle" destination! Awesome thatched roof hut/cabin, faint waterfall sounds, wonderful accomodating host, and many beers in the fridge (open 24/7) Chena was THE BEST host/owner you could ask for. She helped plan our ruins tour, got us to the ATM cave, arranged meal after meal, EVERYTHING. She drove us into town and was just wonderful. Caves, ruins, great food, do yourself a favor, stay at clarissa falls. Its an adventure!!! Tip: if you're a huge wimp and can't handle a room with no a/c stay then at some wack resort. I am always hot and with the fans in the hut, I was very comfortable. The dogs are friendly, the rooster will help wake you :) it was so much fun, I hope to return! Also her homemade hot sauce is great. Clarissa falls is a terrific adventure!
