Such an AMAZING experience. Albert (the owner of this family owned business) picked us up from the airport in Belize city and took us on over a 2 hour drive to San Ignacio. The entire drive he filled with the history of Belize and was able to answer any question we had. We went on 4 separate tours and we enjoyed every single one. Every day we were provided lunch, two of those were hand cooked by the owners sister (she owns a restaurant and her food was AMAZING) and the other two days we were brought to a local restaurant. the meals there were covered by your tour cost. I can’t say enough good things about BZM. Our trip went very smoothly and I owe that in large part to Albert and his hotel suggestions and help building my itinerary.

Albert was an amazing tour guide. Him and his wife made us feel safe and welcome in Belize. The trip to the Mayan ruins was outstanding. We took our time and learned so much about the people and the architect. If I ever go back to Belize, i will reach out to Albert, his wife and Rudi!

My friend and I had a fantastic time with BZM. Albert provided us prompt and efficient transportation between Belize City and San Ignacio and back again. And then the real fun started: we went on four different excursions with him and Rudy over the next several days. The tours we chose were kayaking in Barton Creek Caves, and visiting the ruins of Caracol, Xunantunich, and Tikal. Albert and Rudy are both very friendly and extremely knowledgeable on any topic you wish to talk with them about. All our trips included a tasty lunch and plenty of water throughout. The roads to Barton Creek and Caracol in particular are pretty rough, so it was nice we could rely on Albert for the driving.

We strongly recommend that visitors to San Ignacio check out BZM. They worked hard to provide us a wonderful adventure in Belize!

My husband and I had an amazing time on Belize Magnificent Mayan Tour's Caracol Day Tour. Albert was our driver and his cousin Rudy was our guide. Even though we had a rental car, it was so worth it to ride with Albert's expertise driving on those crazy roads. Along the ride there and back, Rudy and Albert were extremely knowledgeable and informative about Belize and Mayan history, culture, customs, and nature. Caracol is so beautiful, vast and full of history. On the way there, we stopped at the Rio Frio Cave and on the way back, we stopped and swam at Rio On Pools, which was so refreshing after climbing all of the remarkable ruins in Caracol. Albert and Rudy were constantly looking for and pointing out wildlife, like a family of Howler Monkeys, including a baby, a tri colored trogan, a hawk and fruit bats among others, that we would have probably missed if we would have driven ourselves. They also provided a delicious and plentiful home cooked lunch and bottled water and soft drinks. We will definitely be back to take more of their other tours.

Albert and BMMT's professionalism in helping plan the trip promptly won our business, and in terms of their relatively high price, you get what you pay for! We enjoyed having both Rudy and Genny guide us in Tikal (can't beat a 1:1 guide to guest ratio!), along with Rudy's description of Belizean/Mayan history both at high level and in detail as we were passing certain sites/industries on the way back. Our tour of Crystal Cave two days later was a nice contrast (serious climbing with no other tour groups in site). As one of the only 12 guides certified to do so, Rudy effortlessly guided the 2 of us and a family of 3 180m deep into the Wonderland section of the Mayan cave, with relics, beautiful formations, etc. The lunches, transportation, level of English, and even bathroom breaks provided left nothing to be desired. We're glad my workmate booked them for their trip two weeks after ours, and advise you to save your time and headaches and just email them ASAP.
