Stayed here midway through our trip to Bhutan. The location is great: on a hill overlooking Punakha and close to a nunnery built by the father of the current queen. When we arrived the property was relatively bustling with three 10-15 person tour groups arriving at around the same time.

The rooms are cozy and clean, though not nearly luxurious as a Bhutanese 5-star hotel. We stayed in one of the most recently updated bungalows and it was perfect for a one-night stay in that part of the country, especially considering the amazing views you wake up to of the valley below.

The hotel has WiFi in the lobby and a bar/restaurant. Food was decent but on the lower end of what we experienced during our trip to Bhutan; if you’re willing to venture into the valley there are some better dining choices down there, but given our packed schedule, out of convenience, we ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
