Calmingly Beautiful!
Truly a boutique place in Bhutan. The hotel has rustic and classic designed rooms that give superb views of the surrounding. The food was tasty and really fresh. The mind blowing part was the Spa. I had a rejuvenating time at the Spa. The hot stone therapy, and treatment massages are excellent. One cannot miss a Spa at Naksel. What really got my attention is that every staff and the General Manager are always ready to make your stay super-comfortable. I would like to mention about the chefs who are always ready to serve you as per your requirement. Although time was too short, I felt pampered and alive at Naksel Boutique Hotel and Spa. For my next visit to Bhutan this place would be my top priority. After all, how many times you get to enjoy your life in a peaceful zone.
The hotel is good. Located a little outside Paro, and 30 minutes away from the base of Tigers Nest monastery. We stayed in a Deluxe room (303) which is located away from the main building, and reached after a short but steep climb. The room and bathroom were well appointed, and we had a great view of the mountains through the full length windows and also from the little sitout.
Food at the buffet breakfast was a bit hit & miss and could be much improved upon.
Furnished poorly food acerage located far from City toilets don't have shower spout only very high tub with difficult entry
Very beautiful place.
Continental food is good but Indian food is hopeless.
Small and unknown restaurants in various parts of Bhutan gives much better quality Indian food than NAKSEL.
They must find good Indian cuisine chef.
Great Hotel. Nice view from the big and comfortable rooms. Nice bar and restaurant. Friendly staff.
Great view and ambience . Super service very cordial n caring staff made our stay in Naksel a lovely experience.
The property itself is done so beautifully, that you wouldn't want to venture outside the resort! Picturesque, magnificent and impressive!! Loved the hospitality, food and beauty of the place! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Bhutan!
Very big n elegant but not friendly staff n facilities
Nice room. 7km from Paro up a steep poorly made road. Resort is also steep with a big climb to your room.
Oct 2017. Stayed in room 204. This is a deluxe room with a queen bed. Other deluxe room comes with 2 queen beds. Room was spacious. For bathroom, have to climb up a wooden stool to get into a bathtub with glass sliding doors. Room 204 is located uphill from the main reception and restaurant building. The place is eerie and filled with negative energy. Dinner and breakfast is served buffet style, no a la carte menu. Hotel is located minimum 30 minutes drive from town. So have to pay high prices to hotel for items and taxi. There is a beautiful view of the mountains outside the room.
Wifi do not work in the room even though there is signal. Can only use wifi at the hotel lobby, even then internet access is spotty.
Every villas have 4 rooms. Room+bathroom+balcony. Good view to Taksang and Jomolhari. Nice facility, wide room and bathroom.
A great resort on the top of a hill. Great staff and excellent rooms. A Great place.
A extremely beautiful serene location with very courteous staff who goes out of the way in making you comfortable. An awesome view and extremely comfortable rooms. Good ala carte food and above average breakfast buffet . You can blindly book this place for an out of the world peaceful vacation. It's out of the town but now the roads of approach is good.
Beautiful place in the middle of the gorgeous natural landscape in the surroundings of Paro. The rooms are very beautiful, with big windows that allow you to enjoy the view, quite spacious, too. They have a conference room, a meditation room, a restaurant and spa facilities, as well. The price is not too steep, specially when you consider that if you'd like to upgrade to the next best hotel it means paying 600-1000 EUR per night, which is more than twice what this was (we were in off-season, too which helped).
It is a very cosy place and it is located in forest so you can get peace
Great views. Helpful staff. Nice rooms.
Exhorbitantly expensive even more than a 5 star hotel, very far away from town right in the jungle, very bad access road (people with spondylitis please avoid) Bad food (expensively priced in US dollars - about rs.2500/per person buffet) with very small portions. Good rooms with great view but very minimal toiletries. Service and staff are good helpful.
Great view but expensive food.Rooms ok
Beautiful property. But far from the city. Impossible to go out without your own transportation
Fantastic views of valley and mountain from the room, quite big room, beautiful déco and cozy. Great service. One special thing was the food, wow you must try! They're amazing, tasty and healthy.
Spectacular view of the paro valley and of course mount Jomolhari. Great resort with delicious food and spacious room with all the latest facilities!
Gorgeous hotel with amazing views including views of tiger's nest. Beds are very comfortable and staff are very helpful
