Breathtaking views of Paro and Rimpung Dzong. Excellent garden and restaurant. Courteous staff and a truly authentic experience of Bhutan. Must stay if you are in Paro.

Great, local flavor. It is a bit "rustic" but feels very Bhutanese. No TV or phones, which is GREAT. Staff is beyond helpful, friendly and just does things without being asked. Not a good place for someone disabled or mobility problems due to the typical Bhutanese steep stairs, But adds to the local feel. Restaurant is good as well.

The view from the hotel is amazing and the staff is very helpful but the amenities are not up to standard at all. They do not provide any toiletries.

Excellent heritage hotel which could do so much better with some refurbishment. The hotel is not suitable for the elderly or physically challenged since the staircase is steep and no rooms are available on the ground floor. The restaurant complex is slightly away from the main complex but well maintained. Food and service is very good. Rooms though big, tend to be dimly lit, making it depressing. Lighter coloured walls / roofs and brighter lights would make the rooms nicer. Bathrooms are ok but plumbing could improve. Overall a nice homely place to stay.

Beautiful from the outside but once you get inside 😭😭 the walls are dirty as well as the bed sheets and towels. There are mosquitoes and an uncomfortable smell. The rooms are very dim even when you turn on all the lights. The place, at night, seemed totally haunted. Totally not worth the price!

IT LOOK GOOD FROM OUTSIDE , BUT WHEN GET INTO THE ROOM .
ROOM IS OLD AND DIRTY FROM TOWEL TO BED SHEET , ROOM IS VERY DIM EVEN YOU ON ALL THE LIGHT.
ROOM SOUND PROOF IS VERY BAD THEREFORE THERE IS NOT TV IN THE ROOM.
IF YOU DID NOT CLOSE THE TOILET DOOR , MOSQUITO WILL FLY INTO THE ROOM.
BUT THE HOTEL STAFF IS NICE AND HELPFUL , FOOD TASTE GOOD TOO.

Awesome hotel. Former monastery. Incredible views of the Paro valley and centrally located. Extremely close to the airport. Very hospitable people and have an great hot stone bath on site!
