First, don't believe the "adult only" tag they put on the website. We booked this place for this reason only. When we got there the place was full of families with kids. The room you book is also not the room you will likely get. We booked a one bedroom with a washer and dryer with a water view. We got a 2 bedroom 2 bath with a water view but no washer and dryer. We dive so this is one if the reasons we booked this place. When we complained about not having the w/d they offered to move us to a garden view with the w/d. I opted to stay where I was.mind you this was before I learned there were kids on the property which later that day (Christmas Eve). Of course by the time I learned about it, there was nothing I could do for a couple of days. When Christmas and Boxing day were over we complained again, and this time we moved to another apartment. It was smaller, still no w/d and now there wasn't an oven either. Although at least this place had no kids in the building. The management did try to make us happy. They ultimately paid for us to wash stuff at their on site pay Laundry facility and ended up not charging us for the rental car. Despite the problems, it does have a beautiful view, is centrally located and the people were really nice. I think they did want to make us happy. Beds were comfortable. There is an onsight restaurant, but we didn't eat there. They have kayaks you can use and 2 pools. Pools are not heated in the winter.

Honestly, this was the best food I've ever eaten in my life. The lamb chops were impeccable! The mashed potatoes were mashed to perfection. The gravy was sinfully good. The ceasar salad was the best ceasar salad I have ever had in my entire life. I thought about ordering a second order of salad to take home for a midnight snack. The ceviche was heavenly! Their complimentary bread with a balsamic like salsa spread is so delicious. The cheesecake was so heart warming. I honestly kept thinking about that cheesecake for the next few weeks like a crack addict. Their apple crisp was the perfect end to our night. I am convinced the food is cooked by God and all his minions. The food was so good that I forgot about the wonderful view and decor. Also, the staff is very attentive. Dolphin Cove is clearly the Beyoncé out of all the restaurants in the country.

Our reservation was at 7:00pm. We ordered a round of drinks and then our meals right after. The food never came until after 8:30pm by this time everyone was starving. 3 of the meals were burnt, one of them had to be sent back. Two of the meals got mixed up at the table and one took another 5 or so minutes even after the others had come out. My food was good I had the catch of the day but 3 out of 7 of us were unhappy with the food. We asked to speak to the manager about the amount of time it took for the food to come and the quality of the food. He offered no help at all, he actually made it worse. He had a very poor attitude and lacked customer service skills. He said he would give us a free drink next time we came back but at this point no one at the table was ever coming back. I'm just here on vacation but 5 of the 7 people live here half the year and they go for dinners almost every other night so it's unfortunate. Our service was good, the food was hit or miss and the management is a joke. For what you are paying I would go definitely go somewhere else. I've been out for dinner with my friends here half a dozen times and they have never complained once so you know it was a bad experience.
