I was here with my wife for her birthday, 4/23/2018.
It was a fantastic time to visit.
The weather was appropriate to the time of year. Occasional rain/thunder storms, but nothing that spoiled our adventure.

    Things we loved:
    Service was excellent
    Room was clean and comfortable
    Many dining options
    Awesome Aquarium
    Picturesque views at every turn

    Concerns:
The rooms are a bit dated.
    Cigarette Odor in Non-Smoking hallways
    'Balcony' is tiny

Visited this hotel quite some time ago as part of an excursion through the Bahamas. The scale of the resort is immense, and that's without having full access as a resident guest. There's still plenty to see and do inside the hotel with boutique shops, restaurants and bars and of course the main attraction which is the vast aquariums with an abundance of fresh water and ocean life. Staff were very friendly during our visit so it would be a shame if customer service has deteriorated since then.

The resort property is amazing with lots of sea life and water activities. We are frequent travelers and this is far from a 5 star hotel. The rooms are in bad need of a renovation. They are very dated. The front desk staff really needs customer service training. They are flat out nasty and don't seem to enjoy their jobs. The bellhops were super friendly and always ready to take care of you. I really can't give more than 3 stars with the horrible service we received from the front desk and the dated rooms. I can give the 3 stars, because the amenities are beautiful! The aquariums, the pools, the beaches, the water features were amazing! We never left the property! There was so much to explore!

Good hotel. Much newer than Atlantis original site. Great Beach many options for the kids and other adults in terms of pools and Oceanfront views. We did not visit the casino other than your walk through it but it seem to be very nice. Craig convention space

This place was a total dream. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The hotel staff was the friendliest I've ever experienced and the weather was windy, but still warm. The ocean was such warm water as well and surprised me how beautiful the beach is. The water bottles there are expensive, so use your vouchers. The water park is a blast and if you want to swim with dolphins, bring some cash. I recommend the conk salad and chowder. The pier is fun to walk as well and get some souvenirs. We'll be back for certain. This place is paradise.

5 star hotel for real??? More like a -5 if this option possible. Where to start
    1. The service is definitely the worst, rudest and laziest one can ever find in the hotel industry anywhere.
    2. The rooms are old and not well kept.
    3. If you come during cooler days expect to be freezing as during NYC winter because the air conditioning only blows below 60 degrees.
    4. If you paid $300-400 per night expect your final bill to be double due to multiple ‘resort charges’.
    5. Not worth the money for the low quality Vegas cheap style hotel.

My son and daughter in law were on their honeymoon in royal tower hotel Atlantis . My daughter in law woke up with all bed bug bites on her body. Their honeymoon was ruined!!! Staff was horrible told them it wasn’t bed bugs. They sent me a pic of the bed as well as her body showed it to an exterminator he verified that it was! I tried multiple times to call them left messages to no avail did anyone try to rectify this problem!! Horrible don’t waste your money the second something goes wrong no one helps you!! Stay away!!!!

Great atmosphere. Rooms are a little dated.
Resort has lots of activities and the water park is fun. A decent number of the restaurants were closed when we were there in mid November. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny on meals. Staff was very friendly and I have no complaints about our stay. More expensive than I was expecting.
Overall I was happy with our experience.

Rooms aren't that great in the royal towers. Feel like they need a makeover. Even the armchairs in the room seemed dingy and gross on the arms. Everything is very pricey, but it come with the Bahamas. Decent amenities. Recommend having your transportation stop by a store on the way so you can buy alcohol and mix to take to room. Much cheaper.

I stayed here for four days and was impressed by the amazing sea creatures. I was denied a bit of baby food at Poseidon's Table because I asked for more after breakfast. I tried to order a serving of mashed potatoes at Olives at around 4 and was told by the hostess there that they didn't have any potatoes before 5 pm. They laughed at me behind their menus and when I called them out for being heartless, they sent me over to the bar. The bartender was kinder and he spoke to the young chef who took a look a the baby in the stroller and whipped up mashed potatoes in a jiffy. Thank you, Chef. My heartfelt thanks goes out to one Bill who was in charge of the Bahamas Food Services held at the hotel. He allowed the baby and I to go in and get some finger foods even though it was an exclusive event. Thank you, Bill.

The Royal Towers is a great resort to stay in. I had a great experience here from the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, bellmen, etc Everyone is friendly and helpful. The resort itself can use am update, but it is clean and lots of advantages staying here. Its awesome having the aquarium just downstairs. I would recommend staying here over the older Atlantis buildings unless if you want to spend more then go to the newest building, The Cove. If you want to be by the beach, it is a further walk.

Cannot say enough about our trip!!! Yes, it's pricey, but memories are priceless. Room was wonderfulcleanturn down service providedoverlooked the ocean with a small but perfect little balcony. Bought the dining plan.took that out of our scenario. Never spent what we paid, but convenience was totally worth it. Do the encounters!!!!!! The Sea Lion was my personal favorite. Also.before you go broke buying the picslittle secretthere's a pic package available where you get all your pics for one price. Use your water coupons if you have thema bottle of water is a bit high. Overallit was truly paradise. Will visit again!!!!!

Honestly this place is way over hyped (not to mention overpriced). Be prepared to spend $20-$60 per person per meal. At check in Bryttany-Andros island was the LEAST helpful person. She faked looking busy and made us wait for about 10 minutes where she proceeded to yawn the entire time while checking us in. It was not a good first impression. She also 'forgot' to give us our $300 credit. For all the money spent on a room it was a typical hotel room and the balcony was too small to sit on. Room service took an hour to deliver a pot of tea to my room. The place was too crowded so I wouldn't stay here again. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. On the plus side there are pools of animals like sting rays and sea turtles which are really fun to watch as you're walking around.

The pool closes too early. Room service takes a full hour to an hour and a half even if it's just coffee and or tea. People who work here are just lazy. Even when the pool is open the drinks at the bar will not be served two hours prior to closing. Pool closes at 7 drinks are no more at around 5 by the pool. It seems more like they want to take your money then make it. Maids will take your unfinished food or untouched without asking your permission even when we put a privacy note on our door! The people her are just rude! I'd rather stay in Cancun Mexico or go back to Italy or travel to Greece! What a waste of money but I honestly think they don't care!

Beautiful. Large resort, plenty of room to vacation comfortably. Good food. Lots of fun water parks. Alot of fun for the entire family, during the day and night! Will definitely return. Download the map on google play before you leave! The app will countdown the time before your vacation. Also, you can see a map of the resort and everything it has to offer! 5 star!!

The view is beautiful and they have a large collection of local fish and sea creatures, which is fun to watch. The private beaches are calm and good for relaxing and swimming. People here are very friendly and helpful and have answers to every question. My sink was clogged and someone came to resolve the problem very soon. Would come here again and take my girlfriend.

Got married here. Came back 10 years later Almost no changes. That's to say the rooms have gotten a little dated. Spent everyday at the water park with my son. He loved it. The whole credit card or room key only can mess with you a bit. But remember Every food or drink purchase has gratuity built in.

The service here is hit or miss. Some are amazing others are so-so. Overall we had more pleasant than non-pleasant experiences.
Check-in was slow; they had four stations open and one was moving swiftly and the others weren't. There were a few staff members that appeared to be in somewhat management roles and they mostly walked around and didn't help much.
The room was nice and starting to show signs of it's age, carpet needs replacing furniture needs to be replaced. The bed was comfortable and the linens were great.
Bathroom was good and so were the toiletries.
You'll be walking a lot to get anywhere as this is a sprawling resort. This isn't the place to go for a relaxing getaway as there are lots of families with children that love to get up early and run and shout in the hallway.

Awesome resort as a whole, but rating the Royal Towers itself, I rate it a 4. Rooms are more like a 3.. no real updates that I can tell since the hotel was built.

The price you are paying is for the overall ambience of the resort - definitely not the room.. But if you are spending a lot of time in the room, you are doing it all wrong!!

I highly suggest you get a rental car while there. There is a lot to see and do off Paradise Island, with lots of great standalone restaurants on New Providence Island.. CHEERS!!

Our room was clean. Had some mold in the corner of room due to air conditioner unit leaking. Balcony is much smaller than liked. Would love to have a kitchenette. Phone wasn't hooked up. Had to have Tech come and fix issue but it wasn't 15 minutes and it was taken care of. Room service took twice as long as advised but the food was great. The view is amazing! I'd say it was a good choice.

I've stayed at the Royal and the Beach towersBeach is way too far away from everything. Royal was awesome! Look people it's expensive. It's an island. Everything is extra on an island. And if you wanna complain about money, stay home, or pack up your RV and head across the country or something. Atlantis is a blast!! All these complaints about rooms! If you're hanging out in your room, you're definitely doing it wrong. Want cheaper food? Taxi to a grocery store, same with booze. The ocean is crystal clear blue waters and the sand feels like flour. The sun is shining, there are plenty of lounges and clean towels, and some of the restaurants are the best food I've ever had. Yea it's pricy but you get what you pay for. And personally I liked the added gratuity. Made it easy to not have to do the math and just pay the bill. The water slides were some of the best fun my husband and I have eve had in life. The snorkeling is fabulous in the still waters of the man made lagoon and I felt safe there as large sharks cannot get in! There were so many pools that they never felt crowded. The not so lazy river is seriously a blast! We are headed back for trip number three in a couple months. Can't wait!
