Great hotel for an island. Not as nice as some others (Atlantis etc) but very enjoyable. Christmas story and concert during the holidays in the lobby. Killer cheese plate in the lounge. Soothing hot tub. Canoe rental. Beach..

Stayed from 7/20/13 to 7/27/13. Staff service was great, hotel was clean, Cleaned room and towels everyday. Loved all the pools, and beach.
    Hotel overage Excellent!!
Now, the Restaurants in the hotel are extremely expensive, The Bimini Market restaurant Continental breakfast was $18 per person which consist of any bread, fruits, cold cuts and oatmeal. The full breakfast buffet was $25 per person consist of hot meal. Breakfast for family of four $100. Not worth it !!!!!! Dinner Buffet $38.

Some tips if traveling on a budget.

For more decent priced food take the 10 or 12 bus right in front of the hotel. each ride $1.25. took it downtown Nassau, Fish Fry and Cable beach. You just tell the driver where you want to go. The bus ride is very fast, the people are very friendly.

Dunkin Donuts, McDonald etc. are located in downtown. there is also a burger King, Subways, Wendy's, Deli and a supermarket in Cable Beach.
The beers in the Hotel are $9, go to fish fry or downtown you can get 3 for $10.

My hotel stay at the Sheraton was from 5/6/13-5/10/13.
When you walk in the rooms it smells like mold, or a bunch of towels that have been laying around wet in the room for about a week.
During our stay we did not have air in our room for the first 3 days. After MANY complaints we finally go switched to a different room. The lady who I spoke with at the front desk told me we would be getting a room upgrade. Well, we get into our new room and it was a REGULAR ROOM!

Also, during my stay I racked up $150.00 worth of breakfast (which included breakfast for 2), which I THOUGHT I was getting for free. The very first morning I ask the lady at the front desk where is the hotel breakfast (meaning the breakfast that is included with your hotel stay since you have to pay a resort fee on top of the nightly room fee). She pointed me to the restaurant inside of the hotel. Also, I explained to the hostesses I wanted the breakfast that comes with our hotel stay. They said sure, and handed me a receipt for the breakfast, and stated this will be comped at the end of your hotel stay. I took advantage of this breakfast for the next mornings, AGAIN thinking it was free. The last morning I get a bill for the breakfast--$150.00!
The staff nor the manager would rectify this. They stated the breakfast was not included in my package. I am stated, "WHAT PACKAGE?!" No staff member at the hotel tell asked me about any package that I had. The staff ASSUMED, that I had the package that included the hotel breakfast and let me ring up 150.00 worth of breakfast fees.

When I first arrived the lady at the front desk took my card, and explained the 40.00 a night resort fee. I am thinking okay no problem. AGAIN, once I got my bill see this resort fee for 4 nights, which I was told I already paid. I check my bank account before I check out of the hotel and I see the hotel charged me for a $120.00. Never once did any staff member tell me when I first arrived that they were swiping my card for that amount. I was told during my rant and rave session that the 120.00 is a incidental fee, and the resort fee is paid at the end of your visit.

I WILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER SHERATON AGAIN! WORSE SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!

What a rip off! First I was told my King size bed was not available but there was a nice ocean view for me. Newsflash, all hotel rooms have an ocean view, so to be given a view of the Wyndham being demolished next door was a huge disappointment, and I was extremely annoyed that I was told I had a nice ocean view in light of my King size not being available. When I complained, I was given a king size room interesting. There is construction on Baja Mar next door which will continue through 2014, the Sheraton was powerwashing their drained pool at 8 AM, which is truly disrespectful of hotel guests, & the food is atrocious! It's barely edible & you pay an arm and a leg. If I'm going to pay $20 for a small personal pan pizza, I actually expect it to be good. I would NOT recommend this facility!
