Compared to other 4 star hotels in town, i believe Royal Rio Palace is the best..

Nice hotel with good location. Beautiful breakfasts and very friendly Staff. Rooms clean. Fantastic relaxing area on the roof. Child friendly hotel. Not far from Copacabana beach. 3 mins walk.
Sometimes wifi is on hold for quiet long.

Amazing service amazing atmosphere and conveniently close to the beach the only issue i had was that it was crowded but on the plus side, it's a reassurance that the Royal Rio Palace Hotel is a great hotel👍

We just had to stop in for directions to another location in the city, but they were above and beyond courteous and helpful, which is why I rate them so highly. They certainly didn't need to be as we weren't paying costumers, but there it is. Of course, it is unwise to judge on a sample size of one, but that is why you should aggregate as many scores and reviews as possible to decide for yourself if it is worthwhile.

Hotel com atendimento bom e comida mto boas, o café da manhã espetaculartive uma experiência ruim ao ir para a piscina e estar cheio de pessoas que não estavam hospedadas no hotel, não sobrando uma cadeira ou espaço para ficar, e quando pedimos a caipirinha no bar da piscina estava mto ruim. De resto o hotel foi muito bom e vem localizado

Good, cost effective hotel but bedding could be better. Staff are uneven and the breakfast is nice, I just wish matrasses could be less hard.
Some handling of requests was a bit sloppy, such as promising a call back and not calling back, or indicating they will change my room upon request because of noise and then when I called back they said the noise was fixed and they won't change the room anymore. The room is still loud. I had packed everything again and it was for nothing. Really annoying when they give contradictory information. Not even an apology.

The room is fine, clean and with enough space, the bathroom is good and clean. The only problem is that the air conditioner makes a little bit of noise but nothing that bother too much. The breakfast is awesome, a lot of options and wonderful food.

We stay here for 2 nights. The hotel is close to the beach with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Location is very good and the staff are friendly. It is quite old with lack of amenities inside the room: no tissue box, no body wash, no power outlet for international travellers. On the whole, this hotel is still worth staying.

Beautiful hotel on a not so good part of Copacabana. Near of subway and other facilities. 2 blocks from the beach on a perfect place to stay without confusion and lots and lots of people. The hotel take care of everything with the regular services, not a 5 star place but a decent one, definitely!
