That Novotel near Santos Dumont Airport is cool. Staff is kind and assist you with your needs! Neighbourhood is not that good, but the short walk it takes until the city centre is a plus. What is lovely is wake up with the rising sun shining right on your window!

We were very happy with this hotel. The rooms and beds were of high quality and had nice views. Definitely up to the modern standards of a business or leisure traveler. You can literally walk to the airport. The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Included breakfast was good, with different daily options. Restaurant and bar were standard with good choices as well.

Very conveniently located, right next to the office and the commuting airport. Front desk service was outstanding. Breakfast menu could be improved. Restaurant staff need some efficiency training, although their PR demeanor is naturally very good. Great value for the $!!!

Internet speeds unacceptable at 0.84 Mbps. It's clear the hotel has insufficient bandwidth or QOS for the network.

Business hotel in business area means nothing nearby open at night or weekends but it's a short Uber to Lapa or Botafogo so that's easily overcome.

Hotel check-in was fine. Room was on the small side but pleasant. Mini split type AC is very loud.

Neighboring the Santo Dumont airport, the Novotel has a lot to offer for a quick overnight stay. Front Desk staff always attempt to assist in anyway possible. Bar is open until about 11pm each day. Restaurant does not really provide anything palatable, which includes room service as it derives from the same kitchen. Rooms are reminiscent of a cruise ship. Bathrooms are on the smaller size, but showers are roomy and have excellent water pressure although sometimes lacking hot water. Elevators are cramp and often times have a wait. Internet is horribly slow, that is when the connection is actually functioning. Keycard is required to operate elevator, head on keycard facing out, and head on keycard facing up to enter rooms.

Pretty good place to stay, close to the airport and to city's downtown. It is called and cozy and the only downside is the dinner. Had some scrambled eggs that were not very good, but breakfast is pretty good!
