Awful welcome by the reception. They played with us, assigning us a very small room despite we reserved a better one. Had to pay an extra for an upgrade.

Hotel is not worthed more than 2 stars.
Hotel rooms are extra small and everything is old, worn out.
But all this would be ok if AC wouldn't be so loud and if windows would block noise from outside.
Staff is friendly, location is great, breakfast is ok, only rooms are 2* max

The location is perfect, facing Copacabana Beach. Great breakfast and service staff. However, the rooms are small and lack maintenance. Bathrooms with an appalling condition, walls need painting, internet connection kept breaking up, TV image is terrible and room cleaning was minimal, lacking even toilet rolls. Not exactly a pleasing experience, although it was very cheap.

Very small rooms and also most of rooms have a window opposite to the wall. Abnormally quick free internet connection. Friendly personal.

The hotel's location is very good, right by Copacabana's beach. Unfortunately the rooms are small, with old fixtures and very bad internet connection. The corridors are carpeted and smell of mould. The elevators are small and crowded, and the stairways down are terrible! The hotel is going through a renovation, which will be good but for now just means lots of noise during the day.

If you're at Rio just for touristing and will use the room only at night for sleeping, you'll be al right. Otherwise, there are better choices in the neighborhood.

There was really nothing good about this hotel but the location. Room was flooded due to broken bathroom sink. Hotel staff refused to do anything about it. Refused to call management. AC also not working in room. I would recommend staying someone else unless you had no other options. Had to sleep in a small bed with all my luggage because I didn't want it wet from the water. I have photos and a video to document that event. I prepaid my reservation and was forced to stay in a unfit room.Make this a last resort type of place.
