It’s my 2nd time returning and I really love this hotel. You can’t beat the location, rooms are very nice, and they offer free beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the best beach which is right by the hotel.
Beautiful views from the rooftop pool giving a great vantage point for essential holiday pictures.
For the people complaining of rooms being too small, they’re actually larger that most of the other similar hotels in Ipanema.

Great location overlooking the beach. Everything about the hotel is small, rooms, elevator,rooftop pool etc., but clean & courtious. When we were here the service elevator was out of service, which put a real strain on movement in the hotel & slowed down the staff capabilities. The dining room was under renovations & only opened the day before our departure. The staff were great & we would definately come back when the hotel was operating at 100%.

Nice location, clean and roomy. But only 1 elevator, the other was damage. Impossible to get out without waiting at least 10 min.

I stayed here years ago but the negative impact is still bothering me. They do not allow guests in the rooms !! (daytime!) after paying for a package 3 days which was 400 Pound a day! for a room, they did not give me a refund, the Asien woman manager insists: thats our rule! totally ruined the holiday.

The view is very nice, the personnel is helpful and kind, the rooms are clean and are equipped well (unfortunately no iron), the food is not extraordinarily well but ok. All in all it is good value hotel. I had a nice stay here and can recommend it.

The hotel does not look anything like it's pictures online. The rooms are really old and dated. The room also smelled moldy and had very little natural light. The window overlooked an ugly alley even though I was supposed to be in an ocean view room. It is right in front of the beach, so it's good if all you want is a room to crash in at night - add long as you don't mind the moldy smell.

The breakfast is great and being new Ipanemas beach makes all the difference Rio is the most receptive estate in Brazil and its a pleasure to have your meal I'm such a place.

My experience there was brief but great, had drinks made from the best liquors and served by the most polite waiter. Great menu and options for drinking and eating. Awesome experience overall!

Great hotel in an excellent location right in front of the beach. It's on the edge of Ipanema and Copacabana. Very safe. Friendly hotel staff. The breakfast buffet is good, but not 5 stars. Still, I enjoyed it every morning. The rooms are nice and clean with spacious bathrooms equipped with a bidet. I took one star off because my room faced the rear and the view was of another building. Free towels, chairs and umbrellas for use at the beach which is a short walk across the main street.
